The usual pessimists are out in force slagging the lad off as they will have read some other poster quoting some fans in other posts from his ex clubs, none will have seen him play, it's a mental disease.

No. Peacock-Farrell, Ravazzoli. Bardsley. SortedDo you think we'll sign another keeper?
Games are not played on paper, international with lots of championship experience counts far more than rants from fans. I think he will be No1 and Ravizzoli will cover internationals and cup matchesReally awful signing on paper hopefully a back up
CJ will come back and tackle him and then turn his challenges on himself. He will quickly get used to not leaving his line as per Banks's instructions.
His face too when the first time in a game he drives a long diagonal up to CJ only to see CJ run away from it as if bounces out for a throwing.
Stayed on his line on all of those youtube clipsHe will quickly get used to not leaving his line as per Banks's instructions.

Let's be right here would you like to go to work with 20,000 screaming Brummies behind you - if anything's going to knock your confidence that will. Bruce will get the best out of him and all our players - his record with us has already shown us that
And 48 caps for Northern Ireland. Not writing him off.
He’s played for Leeds, Burnley, Wednesday and Birmingham. Four pretty big sides whose manager thought he was capable. There’s clearly a player there. Let’s hope we’re an environment he can thrive in.
Two words:Mmm 40 games for Leeds 48 games for Northern Ireland and most are moaning because of a few comments from brum fans,I for one hope he proves the doubters wrong
yep, well said. I expect Bruce is likely to give them both early opportunites to stake their claim to be no 1 and I'm happy to go along with whatever he decides. I suggest they both need a run of games before the fans should start commenting on them in negative terms. The usual pessimists are out in force slagging the lad off as they will have read some other poster quoting some fans in other posts from his ex clubs, none will have seen him play, it's a mental disease.
Spot onClean slate for me and I judge everyone how they do for us, not what they have done previously. His CV isn’t too bad for someone who apparently isn’t very good.
As others have said, look at the difference in confidence with Fletcher, why can’t that be the same for this lad?
You’d like to think between him and Ravizolli one will be competent enough in the sticks. Let’s face it, Tyrer wasn’t that great….
Do you think we'll sign another keeper?
For a team that likes to play out from the back signing a goalkeeper who’s not too good with his feet doesn’t sound like a marriage made in heaven. We could be in the market again come January.Been told by a Wednesday fan at work, that he’s a decent signing for us, didn’t work out at brum as he’s not the best with his feet, but an excellent shot stopper.
Why ?Really awful signing on paper hopefully a back up
He looks absolutely mustard on this video. Some good save in this.
Have to say compared to Tyrers positioning, BPF is definitely a step up, against better opposition too.He looks absolutely mustard on this video.
Need to get behind him .
There’s always the January window.Pleased with this.
Better option than spending money on Tyrer which THANK THE ** LORD we should hear no more about.
Always.There’s always the January window.
Well we'll have to see. I don't think we play out as much as the Critch version? For a team that likes to play out from the back signing a goalkeeper who’s not too good with his feet doesn’t sound like a marriage made in heaven. We could be in the market again come January.
Yeah to be fair I don’t think we are anywhere near the levels of brum in terms of playing out from the back - they would do it no matter how much pressure. Bruce will not be afraid to go long if neededFor a team that likes to play out from the back signing a goalkeeper who’s not too good with his feet doesn’t sound like a marriage made in heaven. Where has this bollocks come from?He will quickly get used to not leaving his line as per Banks's instructions.
AVFTT folklore.Where has this bollocks come from?
Getting a bit tired of David Downes worked with x player in X year so that's why we signed themThe guy is 28 years old and hasn't been good enough to be a Number 1 at any club other than Sheff Wed in 2021. If this is where we are at as a club despite all the money gained from player sales then we are in for a rough season.
And once he feels the Bloomfield love he ll get his mojo backLet's be right here would you like to go to work with 20,000 screaming Brummies behind you - if anything's going to knock your confidence that will. Bruce will get the best out of him and all our players - his record with us has already shown us that.
It's beyond bizarre how people are banging about his gaffes, but all keepers make them at this level.Hope it works out
We were generally supportive of Tyrer in spite of his gaffes, think he may be a, good fit as he clearly has talent but one mistake can ruin a career at the wrong club
Unless he gets the Maxwell treatment. And once he feels the Bloomfield love he ll get his mojo back
Say you know fuck all about football in one paragraphI know little about BPF so will not pass comment . I do know about Harry Tyrer, and would suggest that he is/was totally unsuitable for L1 football. Pool’s Defence last term had to leave him on his line for corners and free kicks. They knew he couldn’t come out and collect. How anyone would want him back eludes me .
Totally agree and the both still young for GKs and still have potential so all we can do is support themInternational goalkeeper, if we couldn’t get Tyrer then two competitive keepers required and we have that.
Fresh start for him.
Are we a team that likes to play out from the back? I think we'll be more direct this season based on the signings to date. For a team that likes to play out from the back signing a goalkeeper who’s not too good with his feet doesn’t sound like a marriage made in heaven. We could be in the market again come January.
