We have a Ruling Monarchy who have no say whatsoever in the politics of the country.
Better than some Autocratic countries where the 'Monarchy/ leaders' etc. just rules completely.
I'm not a rabid Right or Left winger, but I support our monarchy fully
The visitors from abroad who just come to see the Monarchy/Palace etc bring a lot of revenue into the country.
 
They do I agree Dave.

They still acquired their wealth by doing nothing or through the exploiting of the masses throughout history. Royalist or not you cannot dispute that they inherited the wealth of the land as will their kids.

I also visited Versailles and it was beautiful. Not a royal in sight though?

I lived in Windsor for many years and saw firsthand the amount of revenue generated from tourists from all over the world.
 
Whichever one of Charles and Eddie ( think it was Eddie) sang the "oh yeah" bit in their one big hit Would I Lie To You.
The other one sang the rest.
