Photography?

I’m off next week. Am going to seriously attempt to get some good shots on my humble iPhone.,
It’s a great hobby and form of relaxation and mindfulness in itself.
Thanks Td53, could be something I persue to relax.

iPhone should be grand, can take some great photos on them. Really, phones can do great stuff these days. I don't have an iPhone, but I did years ago and that could do a decent pic even then.

Two things I'd suggest that helped me have fun and get into it.

1 - take loads of photos. Loads. If you a photographing a flower, take multiple angles, focus in different spots, play with light.

2 - change the angle. The great thing about phones is you can kneel, hold them up, put them right low down etc, a real camera can feel quiet unwieldy in comparison - so enjoy the phone for what it can do.

3 - don't see photography as 'about taking a nice photo' - see it as a way of seeing stuff you would have missed. You'll notice loads, lots of it you won't photo but I love it cos it make me look.

Really enjoy it myself, can amuse myself for hours, might not get any pics that are any good but it's fun!

just looked...you’re right... Pound note went in 1988. 1/2p went in 1984. Funny how you misremember these things. Everything was “something and a half“ so it was strange when it went.

You should get some good results with the iphone Lala, phone cameras are so good these days I rarely take a camera out with me anymore and I've got a compact and a DSLR. Just snap away, the not so good ones you can delete and the good ones will look great. As Td53 says, just enjoy it. 👍
