I think you will find they were nematodes and are very good at keeping away slugs (sadly it didn't work with Owen!).Where are the worms . The ones from the O days.

Wonder if the groundsman is anything like me with my green. Whenever I've done any seeding work, after a couple of weeks I'm checking it every other day to see if anys coming through. One of the most exciting things in life you know.
