This is turning like crazy already and as Swanny showed the shine doesn’t last long.

It looks like another deliberately under prepared pitch to me. Turning a lot, bounce variable, 200+ will be competitive.

I think we may be a spinner short.

The pitch isn’t as difficult as we are making it look. Crawley batted well and positively, most of the others are passive against spin, whether it’s spinning or not. Missing Butler, his experience and positivity.
 
Well this isn't going so well. The decision to only play 1 spinner is going to bite us also. This test won't see the weekend.

But scored more in one shot than 4 batsmen who have already batted have, scored 11 3rd highest score. 😮
Will we get to a ton? 😳
 
My guess is they'll show a lot more confidence hitting us round the ground. For us only Crawley's given it a go, it's like we've been waiting to get out. Really poor batting.
 
Archer is a liability, though today he's not the only one! We've bottled this so far, big fightback needed with the ball to even make it a contest.
 
We‘ve just allowed them to dominate and given them nothing to think about. Playing from the crease, waiting to get out, its pointless. Big rethink required - we’d do better with our 20/20 team out there.
 
Another pathetic batting performance by Eng 98-8. I bet the Aussies are licking their lips at this and ready to batter us again Down Under.
 
WTF??? I just popped out to the supermarket and we were nicely poised at 70-2 with Crawley looking supreme, come back from shopping an hour later and we're 98-8.

Only England can collapse that quickly, fuking embarrassing.
 
Not sure there any need to keep laughing, I know we’re having a stinker but come on lads.
 
Only really properly watching now and obviously India massively on top but I’m finding extremely frustrating to see how OTT the fielders and keeper are. Reviewing crazily, and chirping like f... would love it if we had them 50/4 and see how cocky they’ll be then
 
I pray for the day our batsman learn how to play spin. I’m aware the Indians are masters at it on their own turf but it’s the same thing over and over with us and spinners.
 
At least that sun's slipping away. We're going to need some pace assault in the evening dew to get this anywhere near on track. Doesn't feel much like test cricket but could be fun if it comes off.
