How do we all feel it held up last season?

Work on the pitch at the club’s training ground Squires Gate has already begun, with action quickly taken following the conclusion of the most recent season, as the Seasiders missed out on a place in the League One play-offs following their 3-2 defeat to Reading on the final day.
There will be similar action to renovate the surface at Bloomfield Road- which is due to start on May 13 following this week’s schools finals.

It has improved but is still not good enough. They need to take more drastic action. Morecambe FC, whose pitch used to be awful by January, now have a good pitch which looks excellent all year. If they can do it , so can we.

We have been previously fed on a diet of playing surfaces you wouldn't allow a herd of cows on so if it's greenish it's ok to me.

Rumour has it the nematodes will be back next year after Simon joins Piley in the Nick, The Fonz coming back though as back up to CJ at right wing back so not all bad.

First half of the season I thought it was excellent. Started to look a little patchy in Jan/Feb but so did most other grass based sports surfaces - we've had bowling greens that are perennially regarded as the best around here hammered to death this winter.

By the end of the season, Bloomfield had started to pick up again and it didn't look anywhere near as patchy as a couple of months previous.
