Plan B?

Genuine question… does Critch have a plan B?

He sticks to the same game plan every single time.

Substitutions are like for like every single time. No change in tactics. No change in formation. No change in approach.

Surely he must see that!?

It's hard to change things up with the players we have at the club. We don't have any strikers to bring on and the only wingers we have at the club are CJ and Dale. Desperately need some additions.

Hopefully that will be the end of the inverted wing backs.
I think he needs to at least be prepared to try a different system if the team doesn’t start sparking soon with this one.
Maybe we will have a constructive mini rebuild before the end of the window.

We stick to the same formation which is a problem if it’s not working and you don’t have any other options at wing back or centre forward.

Agreed; inverted win backs not working. Lyons loves to attack down the right, CJ can’t use his pace on the right.

I've not quite worked out the reasoning, other than he may have finally realised that inverted WB's isn't working, why a change in central midfield also sparked a switch of WB's. I'd love the chance to ask him.

listened on BBC lancs. Sounds like ORIENT came for a point and got one. Similar to the game on TUE night which i went to. i think it will happen but our next away game will be a bigger test .

Why should he change anything, by his own admission he thinks we’re doing well. He thought we controlled the game against Port Vale, no doubt he will say the same about today. Before you can put anything right, you have to concede they are going wrong and he won’t.
