As of today has closed. Rumours have long been circulating that the new training ground will be on Garstang Road. Some people thought that might not be possible as any spare land was on the Poulton side of the border.

Now that Playfootball has ceased trading, does that open up the door for land on the Blackpool side of Garstang Road for our new training ground?

Or is it just coincidence? I guess we'll find out in the coming weeks.

I believe the school actually own that land ..the pitches so not sure how that works?….have the club bought the land?

Ceased trading since when? I was there yesterday and it was fully operational?
 
Ben Mansford said when talking to fans at the Armfield club, on the subject of the training ground, that discussions were advanced with the relevant local authorities. Or words to that affect. This suggests it’s across borders!
 
This is a real pisser because the whole long established Blackpool senior Seasider walking Football set up is based there. Over 50s/60s and 70s. There is no other comparative site in Blackpool as far as I am aware and Im not sure what will happen.
I played veterans football there every Monday night with Tim Fielding’s merry band and clearly for the last time there last Monday 🥲
