PMQs, 09.07.25

And how many constituency surgeries has he held since becoming elected? All that Farage wants from the people of Clacton is votes. He'll use them.like he uses everyone - for the engrandisement of Nigel.
No idea, due to security he may have done some online.

The people of Clacton get it, a man building a smaller party into a bigger one to try and win power isnt going to be there all the time, hes fighting local elections, doing debates, travelling the country etc.

That's why he has put in place a team there.

The people know if he doesn't get in power it's pointless him being an MP, as thats when the real change comes country wide.

Lovely stuff, but millions of people don't live there, think Mr Yusuf was getting a bit carried away.
If we really want to push it you could say he represents the four or is it five today ( probably be back to four by the end of the month) constituencies that have a Reform MP, so still a long way from millions.
He represents the people prepared to vote for them which right now is enough to win power in a minority or some suggest a full majority.

what an absolute load of tosh.

The regular posters on here, You, Mex, Wizaard, Edgeley, Mac, Moss, EBSN, Costero, Bill and then add in Kurious, Shandypants, EPM46, Foolweary, Voyeur, Toastrack and there's plenty plenty more. Massively outnumber the right.

Fact you watch PMQ's makes me laugh. Political obsessives.
I don't. 🤟

Unfortunately it's the votes that were cast at the last election that are represented officially, until we have another election.
Reform could well be in parliament in far greater numbers then, be interesting to see if they treat others with dignity and respect if they have different views to the self proclaimed normal people.

The next general election will certainly be interesting. Last year the vote shares and seats gained were...

Lab 34%........411 seats
Cons 24%. . 121 seats
Ref 14%. .. ....5 seats
LD 12%. ... ...72 seats
Green 11%. ...4 seats
SNP 3%. ........ . 9 seats

Current polling suggests vote shares approx

Ref .....30%
Lab.......23%
Cons.....18%
LD.........15%
Green....10%

The Reform and Tory vote totally approx 48% and the Lab, LD and Green votes also 48%. Tactical voting in a general election would keep it tight I think.

The votes are getting more evenly spread across more parties now, which perhaps makes our electoral system less suitable than it was. Surely PR is the way forward. We always get two choices ultimately, and everybody has to squeeze into one of the two. And a lot decide they don't want either and don't even vote.

It is though hes representing views of the party leading the polls.

Well you replied to me.

Jeez, it really isn't difficult. My first post was a reply to 66's claim that there were more right wing posters on here than left and i listed a good few posters with left wing views. I also made a comment that the fact 66 watches PMQ made me laugh calling him a political obsessive.

You then piped up saying you don't watch PMQ. I never said you did as my comment was addressed to 66. So i simply replied to you saying "thank god for that".

It's you who has got confused, not me.

so why the fuck did you say, "well you replied to me" with what was a clear tone of having a dig.

I'll leave it at that! I suggest you do.

Polls mean absolutely nothing when the next General election is in 2029. Otherwise the current poll leader would be in Downing St making policy.

He is representing the people of Clacton. Nothing more, nothing less. And he doesn't do that by asking them what they want as he's never there.

No because people who say they'll vote for him will see that and think why are they silencing him, its a terrible look and only plays into his hands.

He's someone representing the views they have in parliament.
