I thought it was a stupid question which was sort of answered the first time.Itās very obvious that the Tory guy knew someone else had been released by mistake last week the police knew yesterday so either Lammy knew which is why he didnāt answer or he didnāt know which he should. Losing your rag at the despstch box is the worst thing a parliamentarian could do( Lammy doesnāt qualify as one )
PMQ's should be dropped and they can use the hour to do some actual Parliamentary work. OK, just drop PMQ's and take a longer lunch.I thought it was a stupid question which was sort of answered the first time.
Lammy can't know what the situation is every second of every day. If somebody is released in error, then somebody somewhere has made a mistake, but it's not Lammy's fault, it's somebody lower down the chain. Procedures perhaps need to improve but again surely this is local management responsibility. It's all a bit shit tbh, pathetic point scoring questions and stupid evasion and faux outrage by Lammy.
So why didn't he answer the question? An absolute waste of at least 5 questions and everyone knows mistaken releases happen a lot. The sentencing has got too complicated for dilapidated prisons systems to keep up.
Because he's useless? So why didn't he answer the question?
Don't understand your last sentence.Itās very obvious that the Tory guy knew someone else had been released by mistake last week the police knew yesterday so either Lammy knew which is why he didnāt answer or he didnāt know which he should. Tamworth FC? At least Wolves are bottom of the PL, so they might have a chance.Raynor at least had something about her sending Lammy out at PMQs is akin to sending Lambs to the wolves.
Because he won't have every prisoner's details to hand at all time?So why didn't he answer the question?
said it before, i've never ever watched it but some seem to have an obsession with it. Each to their own.PMQ's should be dropped and they can use the hour to do some actual Parliamentary work. OK, just drop PMQ's and take a longer lunch.
It's pathetic.
Just seems a school playground where the objective is to bully the other party. Bully probably the wrong word, but call to account also wrong. Just going through the what's expected motions, without any substance or lasting meaning.said it before, i've never ever watched it but some seem to have an obsession with it. Each to their own.
Last month he said he'd put the strongest ever measures in place to stop a repeat. I would be gobsmacked if he didn't want to know about wrong releases.Because he won't have every prisoner's details to hand at all time?
Of course he does you left wing tosser!!!Because he won't have every prisoner's details to hand at all time?
Correct.I read he was told last night
It's a useful insight into the skills and abilities of the PM, perhaps not for you and me, but for the lobby journalists, and other MP's, invaluable.PMQ's should be dropped and they can use the hour to do some actual Parliamentary work. OK, just drop PMQ's and take a longer lunch.
It's pathetic.
I can guarantee that neither Trump nor any of his predecessors (maybe JFK) would want to enter that bear pit. They would gate the immediacy of the attention. Trump would be useless and could not stand being told what to do by the Speaker. Not all British PMs can handle it: Churchill, Wilson, Thatcher, Blair and (perhaps) Cameron could do it. Johnson loved it but he wasn't as good at it as he thought he was. Starmer isn't bad but with social media he has a tough job on at PMQs.Just seems a school playground where the objective is to bully the other party. Bully probably the wrong word, but call to account also wrong. Just going through the what's expected motions, without any substance or lasting meaning.
I'd sack the lot and put me in charge.
I heard there's CCTV footage of him in Wandsworth with a big bunch of keys...Of course he does you left wing tosser!!!
He has everyone on CCTV in his bedroom and even the WC. He knew all about it before it happened and should be sacked for not letting himself know. Even his excuse of being busy stopping the boats on Stanley park lake won't wash.
How? He was being asked a question about a prisoner who was released in error and only reported to the police that day. As it turns out there were two of them which you must admit is very funny. There's never been a fuss about this before but of course you make a big deal of it now. As I have pointed out frequently before the entire criminal justice system is a farce. You want it fixed? Suck up tax rises. So why didn't he answer the question?
Lammy was informed onTuesday of the position and given a written statement on it. But, he still refused to answer the question.I thought it was a stupid question which was sort of answered the first time.

Lammy is ultimately responsible regardless. The biggest issue for Lammy is the promise he made one week ago that this wonāt happen again. You should never make promises that you canāt 100% guarantee. Otherwise, nobody will have any faith that you can do the job.I thought it was a stupid question which was sort of answered the first time.

Telling the truth, whatever it was, might've been a start. How? He was being asked a question about a prisoner who was released in error and only reported to the police that day.
Can you show me where I've made a big deal of it? AFAIK, my only comment on the matter was to say that we probably shouldn't blame Lammy for this mistake. There's never been a fuss about this before but of course you make a big deal of it now.
