PNE V FULHAM

That last scabby result against Boro papered over the cracks. Kept FM in a job. They are a poor side playing in front of an even worse set of non-supporters. Can’t believe there’s only a 3pt gap between us.

They took 200 to Middlesbrough according to East Lancs radio, but they claimed 400.
After looking at the picture on Away Days facebook page, it looks about 300.

PNE is to football what a 70s office block in Slough is to the workplace. Dull, uninspiring, thoroughly depressing, no longer required post-covid and long overdue being demolished and replaced by a landscaped garden.

Replaced by a Premier Inn and Costa coffee

They've played a damned sight better than they did against us, Fulham have been poor this half. That said, the goal is a joke, 2 handballs and Riis looked like he could've been behind the keeper and offside. In fairness, the Fulham player could easily have seen red, looked scissor tackle with excessive force to me.

Despite all their moaning, they are still picking up results yet still want to boycott and have the audacity to mock ours under far far far far worse circumstances, unbelievably fickle bunch.

8952 home fans now on a Saturday against the league leaders after winning their last game away. 🤦‍♂️

I don’t get the obsession with other teams attendances. I know the answer “they started” all abut tinpot if you ask me

Only 2pt gap now 👍
So why are there threats of boycotts etc when you're not even doing that bad, it's simply because we've done better.

If we were bottom you'd not be moaning as much.

Some have the audacity to question our boycott with a situation 1000 times worse that yours.

It's unbelievably fickle.

It is probably because we have been here in the Championship for so many seasons and have been going backwards rather than going forwards and making a real push for a top 6 place. We were just as jubilant as you lot are the first season back and then the third season when we finished in 7th spot.
If 'pool start to slide backwards and don't back the manager/head coach but have the owner, or in our case the owner and his representative bringing back players who are way past it after making a lot of money from selling your main striker, I dare say you lot would be moaning.

BTW football fans are unbelievable fickle. Even if by some miracle we were to be promoted this season they would still want Frankie to leave.

All I read then was BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

All I read then was BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
And that is the reason you just make things up rather than find out what the truth is and just post a load of stuff whilst just wearing your tangerine tinted glasses rather than reality.

Still just hearing BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH to be honest.

You can't expect, as a club a similar size to us, to be near the top each season with the sides coming down with so much cash.

Not sure what you expect? You're mid table, closer to playoffs than bottom 3.

It can only be because were ahead, otherwise you'd be far happier.

You seem to be losing an awful lot of money each season just to compete, so your lucky really, as your budget shouldn't be that high as you just don't generate it.

If we sold our better players the money would be reinvested as were not losing silly money just to compete.

Fans can be fickle yes but if he got you promoted that would be beyond ridiculous for people to want him out. 🙄

TH has only pumped in £10m plus every season for goodness knows how long....it's a bloody disgrace. Sack the board, McAvoy out, let's all have a big fat boo. That lot don't know they're born, big bunch of cry babies

Our fans would have been a lot happier if at least 50% of the money from the sale of Hugill, Cunningham, Pearson, Davies and Robinson had been reinvested in bringing in players with good potential to replace them. It has taken 3 seasons from Hugill being sold till Riis joined us, 7-8 months from Pearson being sold till McCann joined us, etc. However, those in charge thought that bringing back David Nugent everyone would be happy.

Had Billy Davis, Simpson, Alex Neil been backed in the January window rather than being told ‘you have done well enough with this squad to get in to 8th, 7th and play-off spots you can continue with what you have’, again fans would have been a lot happier. However, the club has gone backwards these last couple of seasons.
I am very happy that Mr Hemmings has left us in the black owing no one including the Inland Revenue.

BTW, if we were above you things would be a lot happier and I’m sure you lot would be a lot happier if you were above both us and Blackburn

I'm sure you'd have been even happier had 110% of the transfer money had been spent. Or if TH had put £100m in a year, instead of the £10m. You ungrateful wretches, don't you realise that every penny NOT spent from the sale of a player is just a penny less he has to spend propping up your basket case of a club

Equally I'm sure he would have been happier if you stopped booing and turned up in your numbers.

Whatever, the fact remains you have had an infinite amount more support from your owners over at least the last 10-15 years than we have, so stop your moaning.

Apologies to JFK, but Ask not what your football club can do for you, but what you can do for your football club.
