PNEIS online - A new level of delusion

This is what I mean.

A grown man, on a teams message board he apparently hates, telling someone to “ask their mummy’ over Deepdale Duck not being real 😂
Banter off the charts.
Have I ever stated that I hate Blackpool AFC? There are a lot of things in life that are more important than football, plus I don’t ‘hate’ anyone or anything.
I’ll put it out now that I respect Blackpool and it’s fans.

Thanks JJ

I haven’t had chance to read the whole article yet but noticed it mentions food and facilities which let’s be honest are not the best in your away stand, would imagine you were marked down on that ?
Facilities are shite in the east but were on about atmosphere, its one thing all pool fans know is fantastic and so do many other fans etc.

So it's complete rubbish to read the apparent league table of atmospheres. You only have to see sides like Reading ahead, even the most hardened nobber would raise an eyebrow at that...

I actually listed Reading on another thread on here about crap away days or something like that

Hate the place , really is a club I wouldn’t miss if it slipped down a division or two

Atmosphere has been poor for a while at deepdale but hoping for an improvement this season, especially as we are splitting the kop for more games

A lot of work has gone on by fans groups raising money for hundreds of flags etc

Looking forward to Saturday, yellow wall thing didn’t really happen last week, weather didn’t help it was tipping it down most of the day , decent forecast this Saturday, so no excuse everyone should be in white !

Why do you post illiterate and made up posts? I guess you believe your drivel 🤡
He's pretty funny though.

This post was hilarious.

PNEfans waving their white flags this Saturday.....

Tbh Rangers ultras had some flags, looked good, but you can imagine some grumpy fans behind (if in the wrong area) being annoyed. Suppose it depends how big they are.

Clapsticks next?

Or maybe...

A booboozela?

All this is a load of shite, facts figures bla bla, let’s just see who finishes higher in the league, who makes the most noise & who wins the derby games then have some proper bragging rights instead of some randomer posting random things on some random site randomly, pointless random shite, random is my new favourite word, what’s the point it means nothing after one game

As for being in your shadow, when was the last time you had a:
-higher finish in the league?
-average higher attendance?
-got further than us in the FA Cup?
I look forward to your answers to these questions
We averaged multiple thousands more than you around 2011-2015ish I'm pretty sure , can't be bothered looking it up , same period we finished higher than you regularly. We were also better than you from about 1939-1980 on such a regular basis that it would take too long to list. I'd imagine you win the recent FA cup form thing, we've been awful in cups for a long time, we're quite good in that 2 game cup that gets you promoted though.

We've also had an incredibly shit time of it lately while you've been one of the most stable clubs in the league / built your admittedly better facilities way before we had a toilet that wasn't a wall you pissed against in the ground.

I'm now 63 and in my lifetime, Preston have won 3 times at Bloomfield Rd, one of which was before I started going in 1965.

Their history dates back to when the rules allowed shin kicking, no offside and no crossbar. They've done nothing since Victoria died.

And whole I'm on it, the Invincibles were called that sarcastically, but as usual, the Nobbers were too thick to get the joke.

Are you columbo ? He always seemed to suss these things out in the first 5 minutes of an episode, if you’re under 40 then you may not have experienced his talents on tv
Anyway you aren’t columbo obviously as he died 10 years ago, top man PF
Haha, I'm relatively young compared to most on here.....

But no its more like a sixth sense with most of the ones who joined..

😀

How on earth will flags improve your pathetic atmosphere. Do they sing and chant. What a joke.😂😂

Why two faced? I come on your board and try to be respectful and I have never claimed to be anything other than a North End fan and after all it is just banter 😉 so I don’t know why you are getting upset 🤷‍♂️
Why would you throw your own fans under the bus like that? Making a thread to embarrass them like that is shameful. You set them up to fail and you know it, you've spent enough time on here to know it.

I see this nutter is still at it.

Funny they should mention the prem season as we have yet more hard evidence.

"Raucous Support

During their season in the Premier League, Blackpool were recorded as having the fifth loudest fans in the division for the 2010/11 season.

Despite having a capacity of just 16,220, the Seasiders were clocked in at 85 decibels, thus putting them amongst the best in the division.

It is certainly something that has always been synonymous with the club, especially now that the infamous Oyston family have moved on."

Imagine that, 5th loudest despite having way less supporters compared to the clubs above.

Pound for pound thats pretty impressive to me, especially considering some win far more often than we did.

I know, those bloody anecdotal decibel meters.....

Plus, the evidence used of their own commentators couldn't be any less biased 😂

Usual nonsense about the boycott years, completely misunderstanding that it was in league 1 the boycott fully started and yet we returned in league 1, so if fans were trying to avoid lower leagues football, we wouldn't have come back in league 1 would we, again as usual this nobber argument makes no sense and makes them look thick.

Yes he's been on here long enough to realise there's someone like me with a ridiculous amount of proof to pull out of nowehere, that makes the ratings look ridiculous.

Especially when we have their own commentators in awe on video, other fans, managers praise etc, even thrown in factual evidence from the prem years.

Best atmosphere in the Championship?

Discussion
Just curious to hear about who you all believe has the best atmosphere in the league. Definitely lots of good grounds, but Id say a toss up between Luton, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Derby. Seem fair?

But of course, there’s going to be some degree of bias from me! I’d love to hear your opinions!

Reading, obviously 🤣🤣🤣

In all seriousness, its Blackpool by a mile for me, didn't stop chanting the whole game.

I've not been to all grounds, but the ones I have been to Forest were the best for volume and consistency.

Always helps when the home team is winning I suppose.

Huddersfield or Forest for me. Huddersfield I went to for a nothing game in the FA Cup, and Forest away was the first game of the season under Karanka (that season they thought they may go up). Both really stick out.

It’s definitely not Stoke.

Our atmosphere has been killed by the beige surrender footie we’ve been served up the last few years.

Forest easy I would say, at least this season for sure. Honourable mentions Blackpool, Luton and derby.

I've only been to about half the grounds in the league, and of course atmospheres can change from game to game and season to season, so it depends whether you catch a club at a good or bad time on their trajectory. The ones I remember being loudest are Forest and QPR - but again, those are just snapshots of specific games and might not represent the way they always are. I was also at one of the very last games at Griffin Park and it was rocking. Some clubs are hit or miss (for example, both of the Boros, in my personal experience) and other grounds are always quiet - although I won't name names because I don't come here for arguments.

I'm bias but I lose my voice nearly every game from singing all game at Forest and I know I'm not alone

The home end is usually full which helps and after the boycott it's just nice to be back.

Any team with a bowl stadium you can rule out straight away, sorry Reading, Derby, Coventry etc. I think lately Forest have been generating good atmospheres, particularly the FA cup games. Huddersfield, Millwall & Luton generate good intimidating atmospheres I’ve noticed. Sheff U meh. Bournemouth is what you’d expect from southern Tory posh boys. Preston can be pretty decent.

As for us, well lately it’s been terrible for obvious reasons. But Oakwell is a bit shit these days, it’s in need of some TLC, but the open corners isn’t great for the acoustics.

If Archibald Leech could witness those bowls..

And his mentor, Archibald Leitch, may also have a few things to say.

If bowls are bad for atmosphere and open corners aren't great for the acoustics, what would you say is the best set up?

I quite like a traditional ground with 4 stands, like Millwall, QPR, and Blackburn, but can't say I'm a fan of the elliptical-shaped stands like Huddersfield and Bolton. Bowls are what they are and can have a good atmosphere as long as they're well attended. A half empty bowl does not generate a good atmosphere on the whole.

can you really call The Den as a ground traditional?

Well it's relatively new but it does have a somewhat traditional configuration.

Genuine question flair aside cos Im not a massive fan of PP looks wise but why rule out bowl stadiums automatically

Kenilworth Road has an average match attendance of 96% capacity. On an average matchday it's loud, cheek-by-jowel, and as such the energy spreads around the ground like a wildfire. It's great.

Hard for me to judge kenilworth road cos the only time I’ve been was your first game back in the championship, it was bouncing like

Fuck me fella, do you have nothing better to do with your time on a Friday night?

Let it go, who really gives a shit?

One of those I posted Thursday, the other I typed most of it during the day then posed once I got in, that OK with the Friday night police? 🥴

Plus I'd say clearly a few do care, especially when it's so easy to counter the claims.

We are up there with the best vocal support in the championship, all the Europe stuff is bollocks.

Se what Stoke fans thought when we lost and played shit.

Some of your lot say we have a way to go before we match you 😂 Now that's delusional.

Despite your big crowd and flags on the white hot atmosphere day, here's the reality.
