Jesus Christ, Chris Hughton? Have you ever seen the football his teams play? Booted by Forest with 1 point from seven games at which point they become the best team in the league for the next 39!

Is Sergei Kornilenko not worth a shout?

Currently assistant manager at Kyrlia Sovetov.

Might be ready for the step up ?

Sergei had a good game at home v Spurs in a 3-1 win. Unfortunately not much went right for him after that.

Is this going back to the Tony Parkes era though when he said that in front of Belokon who immediately wanted a new manager! Is survival enough for us these days again?
With probably the lowest budget in the championship this season, and no real funds for the next 6 years, ,(training ground and south stand being developed) I would of thought to stay in the championship is the thinking of the board not reaching the play offs during this period, of course the new management will be given realistic targets such as keep the club in the championship, finish this season in 16th place or higher and build on higher up the league in future seasons . We need a manager who can do this, as dropping down will slow club progress down.

Manning and Warburton need adding got a good following on here.
Both very good shouts. Warburton knows this division well & plays some good stuff. Mate of mine is a die hard QPR fan & given good accounts of both. Manning was in the frame for their spot until Beale took it. Good luck in your hunt for a new coach. Shock Critchley left but if he wasn't committed no point keeping him.

I prefer someone else entirely - someone who's experienced at the highest level. Yes they might not want to come. Yes they might be too expensive.
But you don't know that for certain unless you ask the question in the first place.
Before he starts considering the lower hanging fruit, SS needs to enquire at the top of the tree.
