So, as we can now do polls on AVFTT, who would get rid of him before Southend? If you were Sadler at this stage of the season, bearing in mind we have 10 games left where low crowds will cost Sadler money short term and potential season ticket holders long term, would you carry on supporting a manager who hasn't won in 10 games.

Bear in mind also that even when we were winning earlier in the season, there were few games where I walked away thoroughly convinced that we'd nailed then opposition and thoroughly deserved the 3 points. For me, I'd want to know who was out there and also get the mood of the camp and then take action from there, As a fan I'd probably get rid now.

I will give him one more week to work with the new players but if no success against Southend I hope he is shown the door.

Would of got rid of him a couple of months ago, but now with all the new signings hes got to have a few more games

If we keep plummeting down the table then sack him

Not after just signing a full team of new players, no.
Mr Sadler will review matters at the end of the season, in the light of results & performances between now & then.
Then again, in football things can change quickly for all sorts of reasons. If Benitez or Simeone suddenly become available....

No but if we lose our next two games which are at home I will probably change my mind because we would then definitely be in a relegation scrap.

No give him at least until the end of this season. Unless we are really in a relegation dogfight for which we needed to brings a saviour in.

Did we really expect to win today against a team that absolutely played us off the park at home? Yes it’s disappointing but l think that Grayson will be with us until at least the end of the season, however, the next 2 home games may decide orherwise. Today could have been very different if Madine had scored and not hit the post late on.

I'm actually getting bored of this every week....I'm going to make MY mind up at the end of February after a run of games...If we see some improvement and start winning then Larry has to be given time.....If nothing happens.....If were still looking poor....Then maybe it's time.

I would imagine SS has weekly updates....He knows whats going on and if we reach the end of the season looking dodgy...I'm sure he will take action....But until then Larry gets my support....🤪

I'm a bit like B_Side_The_C_Side .. we're there to support the team, not to pass comment on the manager. That's Sadler's job and until he decides he doesn't want him in charge, we'll keep supporting him and the team. He'll know when his time is up.

I didn't want him in the first place but now he is here and brought in a full team of players, it would be daft to sack him now, as long as we don't look like going down give him till the end of the season and make a decision based on where we are at then.

I think you have to give him time now with this group of players. I haven't seen us since the Accrington game and so can't judge. I'd like to at least see this side in action (and bear in mind 3 players were ineligible to play and Kaikai is injured) before condemning him to the dole queue,.

No, although I posted that he was the wrong choice before the season started. Now he has brought so many new players in it would be illogical not to give him the chance to work with them and probably give him until the end of the season to make some progress.

If no signs of progress by then we`ll obviously have to look elsewhere.

No. As others have said he needs time to work with this new group. Sacking him right now would be absurd.

Agree with the majority (even though the vote is closer than that), let's wait and see what happens.
Doesn't help Matt Scrafton ramping up the pressure!

It does seem that Scrafton is digging at him all the time, rightly or wrongly Im not too sure,I suppose he is just conveying the atmosphere he is seeing from the fans at games.

Maybe we’ve so far brought over the sensible posters on to this site as am reassured amongst all the baying fans on Twitter who want his head that there is still a majority on here who are happy for him to remain in place.

Surely if you want Larry out, you should want him out now ?

If you are a Larry backer but think he should be sacked if we get beat by Southend then you are probably more fickle than a Larry out man.

If someone can come up with a better solution of a manager who is available now and would improve the team, I suppose that’s the starting point of the discussion but I’m struggling!

Glad to see a bit of sense prevailing and the majority (a clear majority in Brexit terms) sticking with him 👍 Just not the right time but he does have a big February ahead of him where he simply has to get some wins.

2 games ago I said to give him 6 games, sticking with that. If the bad run continues, replace. The definition of insanity is to keep making the same mistakes and expecting a different outcome. SS has spent a fortune on transfer and wages for Larry, he needs to at least show signs of delivering. Play entertaining, give it a go, or win some scrappy games, but at least show signs that there actually is a plan.

I reckon at 4.45 on Saturday it would have been 60/40 against him staying but I think the days break will have given food for thought with regards timing, replacement, knee jerk etc - however, Grayson and the team owe us a good performance and result on Saturday or that could quickly change!

We need to give his new players time to adopt his methods. After the past few years this cannot be considered a rough patch. Let’s be patient and give him some time. Remember the straight 10 the same season he was almost let go? Have faith gents.

10 games without a win in this bang average league is a joke, the fact we are stinking the joint out as well is even worse. The fact he praised the Oxford performance speaks for itself, he is clueless.

Give him another year from now.
If it's not working then then yes.
Give him a fair chance to make the changes he needs.
We have completely replaced the squad - it would be madness to sack him now
Saddler is backing him which is a good thing

We should give him a few games at least for his new players to bed in but equally if this continues something will have to give. The performances are more worrying than the results at the moment.

If a first class replacement was in line and money was no object to pay off Larry, then yes I would. I cannot see that happening though.

However, lose against Southend and everyone (fans/players/club) should and will be asking serious questions.

Yes - everything about him is boring

No I think he needs a chance to settle HIS new players and get them playing together. Given Simon Sadler said promotion to the championship in next couple of years
I’m quite happy to stay in league one this season give Simon a chance and push for promotion next season

Too late when we are in a relegation dogfight. It must be if we lose against Southend or the end of the season.

Scrafton is getting on my nerves, frankly. Think we should recognise that he has a professional interest in ramping up the pressure on SG, something he is doing quite intentionally. The media love a sacking - more story lines/drama to fill the back pages with..

Voted No because it seems pretty obvious - am just looking at the page views and wondering if McG_BFC might be the first poster to get 1k views?!
