Poor officials.

For me one of the worst officials for league 1 and league 2 has to be Andy Haines from Durham.
I will never forget the penalty he gave Accrington v Blackpool in 2016.
There's another poor ref we've had this season from Peterborough.

The name Eddie Ilderton always concerned me on the team sheet - terrible ref for us.

Drysdale wasnt as bad as others have been but he gave a lot of soft freekicks based on gills players rolling around holding bits of their anatomy.

watched the real sociedad athletic bilbo game last saturday, two absolute shitehouse teams and quite possibly the worst ref i have ever seen, he just could not make a decision. it is about time the league authorities started to up the standards of officials

It is time they stopped giving Free Kicks when a player falls over at the slightest of touches.
(Just like Tilt used to do - even though we got a Free Kick, I thought he was an embarrassment)

One of the worst decisions I ever saw was the Penalty we didn't get against the Manure at BR. We were 2-0 up and would probably have won the game. Unfortunately we folded and lost 3-2.
Always forget the Refs name (someone will remind me) but he is on TV with the pundits.
Scared stiff of Ferguson obviously.

Clattenberg was the fourth official that night. As soon as United went 2-0 down Ferguson was in the ear of him and the linesman. A mate of mine (an ex-pro) was working for Sky and was next to him when the incident happened and Clattenberg immediately said into the mic 'No pen'. He was shown it on the monitor and made no comment. Complete stitch-up.

Blatant red card in 2nd min.
Many fouls on us especially in 2nd half unpunished.
Handball in injury time, everyone saw apart from ref with white stick!
All that you say is true. However, I believe that you have to grab the wins yourself. Even if, sometimes, it's despite the ref.

Bad ref maybe but we shouldnt be relying on refs to get all decisions right , game should of been won with the chances we created and missed, but we move on and go to next game we all knew it was going to be a hard game, and accy are next up another hard game but one hopefully we win.

Easy to keep blaming the ref.

Tiredness in the last 15 minutes and the Lincoln subs cost us 2 points today not the officials.

Sometimes you have to be man enough to admit it.

We should have been home and dry 4 or 5 up long before they scored their first goal.
The ref was having a stinker long before they scored the first. He was poor.

Cant use this as an excuse for drawing, if this team put half the chances they create each game they would be promoted by now.

Hand on heart how many times do we actually praise the ref?
Someone’s just posted on this thread even the Lincoln fans were complaining he was shite giving everything to us.
Officials will always get it in the neck unless your team is winning 5-0 week in week out.

From the many threads so far this season, it seems the standard of officiating is generally poor in L1.
I suppose if they were better, they'd be refereeing in higher divisions?
But it is what it is and we just have to get on with it, and try to take results out of the ref's hands as much as possible. As already posted, if we'd taken our chances we wouldn't be talking about the ref at all. I can't remember many comments about him when we were dominating and 2-0 up.
We just need to put matches to bed sooner, it's happened a lot this season where we've played brilliantly but didn't score enough when we're on top. If we had, the ref wouldn't be a factor.

I’m as sickened as you all with yesterday’s ref, even after sleeping on it. If only my personality was geared to “c’est la vie” and a shrug of the shoulder.
Golf: Rose dropped to 2nd.
English RU teams getting pooped on in Euro. (Lived near Exeter Chiefs.)
Hangover in near distance.

Probably half the games this season, at least and I have posted. This was noticeably a poor, under confident ref out of his depth.

Remember it well as they were resting some key players with an eye on the upcoming Champions League game. Rooney was having a stinker. Had they gone in 3-0 down at half time I believe we would have bagged the three points. It’s always the same. Talk to any Burnley fan, the Referees always favour the so called big six glamorous clubs.

Am still amazed how far Michael Oliver has gone - remember his early days when he was in the lower leagues and he was clueless!
