Pre-Season Fixtures - Ideal scenarios

Just wondering if during BST and fan's groups meetings with the board if they can talk about pre-season and what fans would like for this summer. I can't help feeling for years now our pre-seasons have been dire. Mainly away games followed by a dull and unappetising game against Blackburn Rovers!

So, if you could arrange the ideal pre-season who would we be playing and where?

A tour of some Portuguese clubs. Maybe some second and third division clubs and then for the last game a trip to Braga or Porto. Gives the fans a holiday, the players will enjoy it as well. Would be win win imo

I’d like the games in pre season to be higher in the leagues than where we are instead of league two or non league friendlies.

Not bothered they are normally as dull as dishwater.
Only one which would get me excited is playing the nobbers and no way the Police would allow that.
Then your going for the obvious top Prem teams which rarely happens now as they make too much money touring the world Cods got a youth team when they played Liverpool for example.

I think we'll all be chomping at the bit for next season because this one will end in such a damp squib. Effectively, we'll have had 6 months of non-competitive games (ie nothing to play for).
