Will Prem teams look to offload older fringe players due to rule changes.
Maximum 8 loans out falling to 6 for over 21's.
If Simms has no Everton future, and Broadhead who is also useful, they must be likely to be sold rather than sit in reserves. No idea if Sterling would also be affected.
Maybe the days of Prem squad sizes of 50 plus players, will end.

I'd need to see more detail on the new rules.

AFAIK the FIFA rules don't apply to home-grown players, whether PL rules are different I don't know.

Assumption
Believe if they had dropped into Championship he would have a part to play, but they cannot run the risk of blooding him in Prem, if it costs them relegation. I do not believe he is a Prem striker at this time anyway

They didn't seem to rate him much even when they had a huge injury list, he hasn't set the world alight in Scotland, it looks like a reasonable assumption.

If the new Chelsea owner is forking out £4.5bn to buy the club I doubt Sterling will match his ambitions. If he's sold though, I think it more likely he will go to a lower Prem team or one of last season's top Championship teams. It won't be for a small fee either.
