Prince Andrew being trashed in the Telegraph again

Interesting. Two days after PA steals the scenes at Prince Philip’s memorial service by escorting his Mum down the centre aisle in Westminster Abbey in full TV coverage, to the alleged fury of Chas and Wills, he is accused in the Telegraph of taking over a million in “gifts” from dodgy businessmen who took part in his silly Pitch@Palace events. I wonder who has been briefing the Telegraph reporters? His family or the security services? Maybe neither, it is in the High Court.
But the infighting in the RF and jockeying for favour from HMQ is coming across as quite medieval.

The concept of monarchy is, itself, quite medieval.

According to Private Eye, the queen is on her last legs and the end may be nigh soon. This is why Charles is acting as a defacto head of state both in preparation and because the queen is too weak to carry out engagements as normal. When she does go you can expect PA to face the equivalent of an ex-communication from the royal family - he has no other supporters.

I would agree with you except I am pretty sure they would immediately invent some sort of replacement that will almost certainly be even more annoying.
I doubt if Andy will be bothered only retired geography teachers with leather elbow patches on their jackets read the Telegraph.😜

He's got to pay m'learned friends somehow. He was always Mummy's favourite by all accounts.
