2nd half cross from (can't remember, sorry), their defender raps his legs over the ball in a bit of a scramble then keeper dived on it. Would that hand been an indirect free kick outside of the box?
Also are you allowed to take throw ins 20 yards behind where the ball goes out of play? Seemed to happen at every Oxford throw in second half.

Completely agree

He sat on the ball, not allowed

And when the ball went out by the corner flag a number of times the took the throw much further up the pitch.

Officials should have stamped on it.

The linesman on this near side was clueless.

Also the first foul throw I've seen given, since I don't know when.

My pet hobby horse about modern professional football - no foul throws given.

They were always given when I played sunday football, even when it was a marginal decision. Some of the pro ones are blatant.

Spot on about their throw ins. Several times the ball went out by the corner flag and the throw was taken in line with the 18 yard box gaining an advantage.

The Oxford commentators talked about him a lot .. it was one of those games the fact we’d played so well and won that no one really mentioned just how atrocious the officials were!

All teams seem to take a throw-in from anywhere they want, including Pool.
Referees are are very lax in dealing with certain things.
One thing which annoys me is when the ball goes out of of play and an opponent picks up the ball, walks about 10/21paces away and then drops the ball.
All teams do it, including Pool. Time the referees got to take notice of that. Purely delaying tactics.
