Hazi - Good luck with your selections, good racing tomorrow but I can't pick my nose at the moment.

Tangerine - I know that there are more important things than horse racing right now but I am sure you've had a great day out for the last 3 years and I feel it's such a shame that people are unable to enjoy the things that interest them at the moment.

You've certainly got the right attitude when it comes to your horse, you can't expect anything as you suggest but good luck with the venture and I hope you get to see it on course sooner rather than later.

Cheers Gents, like the look of Sakhees city TTW and admire your punt on the other. Had another Heinz.

Trainer Phil Kirby is a Wesham lad.
Dad used to train greyhounds.
Yeah I know who he is ...his dad Geoff had an almost legendary status as a punter/trainer at Blackpool dogs and other flapping tracks around the nw...he used to buy and borrow some really good dogs and land touches with them. No surprise to see they land some right gambles with horses now and yesterdays was a right touch. 9/2 backed all day all the way down to 5/4 at the off and won comfortably. He has had some nice horses including Lady Buttons who ran up a nice sequence.

I think today might be the day for Presenting Percy in the big race in Ireland. Moved to Gordon Elliott stable from a very small trainer. Freshened up today, should go well.

Also backed Getaway Gorgeous in the 1.50 at Down Royal for Mullins. Never out of the first two yet.

Bit poor sorry gents. The 14/1 plus an EW at 20s. Today’s effort.

Waitnsea now 18/1 small profit on cash out before a race has been run. Always seemed overpriced a value bet could still run a stinker tho

Went with Flaming Moon, was going well but finished a very close 4th, top 3 placed 🙈

Waitnsee unlucky to finish 2nd, led over the final fence. Only got 25/1 though.

I got my money back! Better than a kick up aris, that 50/1 shot I’m sure was wrongly priced.

Flaming Moon neck 4th should of made frame would of made a healthy difference circa £200.

Had a good couple of days on the darts so banged 20 quid on at 9/4 🤞

Hard luck SpionKop, always adds a bit of spice to our Punters Corner lives even when they don`t win.Keep trying.

I have continued to invest in the science of equine prediction since my last punters posts on here in February and I have made an unexciting and rather slim profit of £118.60 to £20 stakes since lockdown from 75 bets after a previously much better run up until the March lockdown.

Results so far indicate my methods based primarily on times seem to produce better returns on All Weather racing (I only bet on flat racing and have recently read a biography of Phil Bull the Timeform founder who apparently also only bet on the flat and in the 80`s he once rang me and gave me a little personal help over the telephone.)

It depends on whether you are looking for books about racing or books to help you as a punter.

I must admit I have not read any recently apart from the Phil Bull biography by Howard Wright which I had a particular personal interest in but it may well be out of print now.As for tipping advice Nick Mordin`s books are worth a read .I also read a book called Doped by Jamie Reid a true story which was a very good read but these were all published a number of years ago and maybe out of print.I suppose Amazon may well be worth a try.

Keeper Hill and All You Wish are big outsiders, would be nice if one of those landed 🤞

Got a retired greyhound from the Greyhound Trust this morning. We were offered a few but what swung it was its record of winning from trap 5. Suits tangerine.
