Grayth, you're right about not going on forever. However, footballers who look after themselves are staying on well into their 30s now. OK, they might not have the stamina and speed of a 25 year old but they will have gathered a hell of a lot of experience. Perhaps the future is about using 35+ players over 45 minutes, especially with three off the bench.

John Hills and Danny coid were in a defence that conceded 7 against Barnet. Barnet got relegated out of the football league that season.

Baptiste was in a Mansfield team relegated out of the Football league and I would imagine would have conceded four goals a few times.

Those three didn't turn out too bad.
