Realising you’re getting old

Musically, remembering the original of remakes.
Those little grunting noises you suddenly start making when getting out of a chair.
Only looking in the mirror as a last resort 🥺

When you're notified over the last 6 months that people you have worked along side for decades have sadly passed away.
Its averaged out at 2/month and has ranged in ages from 55 - 64 😔

Chatting with work colleagues. Make a reference to someone who is young and cool (in your eyes) and the 'kids' have no idea who you're talking about.

It’s when you realise you’re on the Big Fella’s radar. And there a lot more years behind you than ahead.

Sleep well. 💀
An American podcast I was listening to put the wind up me this week talking about longevity.

"Well me an my friend use a measure whereby we divide our lives into quarters like Football.
I'm in the early stages of the third quarter and after this we have the final quarter; then overtime and if its still not decided, Sudden Death!! "

Sleep well💀

I ain’t bothered about dying at all (for my own sake) or more accurately being dead......the thought of dying in pain for several years doesn’t fill me with joy nor does the thought of getting dementia (I have worked with dementia sufferers and it was rewarding but still tragic) BUT my main point is we all die and will have been lucky to have had a few years on the Funfair so just enjoy it and stop being scared about an inevitability
