Remaining Tickets

While not a perfect way of choosing who watches the team, selecting current season ticket holders and those that have seen the most i-follow matches rewards those that have supported the club financially the most in a pandemic.

I think the management of the club should be applauded for rewarding those that have supported the club in these challenging times.

Don't see how there can be any criticism of that.

Someone who has watched every game week in, week out on iFollow should get the opportunity rather than a pot luck where someone who is just fancying it because we're in the play-offs might snap one up on general sale.
How about people who had a ST last season but couldn’t get one this due to financial issues. Buying a video pass isn’t loyalty.

Of course buying a video pass is loyalty and most of the money goes to the club. My lad has purchased every pass apart from 1 and I'm not far behind him. So by our reckoning he has spent over £500.00 alone. How is that not loyalty ? he could have bought 2 season tickets for that. There are some right lemons on here I'm afraid.

Very sad if that is the case for some people, ultimately though the fairest way to reward fans for the play-offs for this season is to focus on ticket sales/season tickets from this season. The club are giving priority to those who have bought the MOST video passes - that will be the group of people who have bought a match pass for every single game totalling at £460 for league games alone.

How aren't these people loyal? Ridiculous to claim they aren't really, buying a season ticket isn't the only way you show your loyalty to the club.

Theres probably that few left they should have just said they’d all gone, that way nobody could moan😃 mind you this is avftt😁

I have had a call and bought a ticket. I purchased all the i-follow matches including pre-season. I also spent about £ 200 in the club shop
on Christmas presents. I did have a season ticket but that was a few years ago as I boycotted the club after the sacking of Thommo.

I do feel sorry for those that have missed out, especially those that have suffered financially in the pandemic. But the situation is unique and the match will be shown on sky tv.

There is literally no way of doing it that pleases all, so they've done it in the fairest way to most. There will be people in families that have seen every game this season that miss out, but I think even worse would be if any people who have paid for every match this season miss out in place of someone who hasn't watched any this season - which could've happened if it was a straight lottery. This is the fairest way 100%.

Being as so few tickets left the club should have done what I suggested last week in that they should have been offered to fans who gave up valuable “free” time cleaning seagull/Pigeon shit off the seats for days on end.
Would have been a very nice gesture and a big thank you to fans who were prepared to get their hands dirty. 👍

I would be gobsmacked if these folks haven’t already been allocated tickets for their efforts.
I should imagine th3 majority are ST holders anyway.

It was either this way or a raffle. I’m lucky as I got a season ticket, but I wouldn’t lose any sleep if I couldn’t attend, as it’s been that way all season.

Very fair, and that’s from someone who probably hasn’t bought enough (10 ish as far as I can remember). Have a great day if you get in, and give em a cheer from me 😎

That is a good way of doing it, especially for those of us who didn’t get money back for games that got postponed it would make up for it for me, if I was in the country!

Definitely a great way to allocate spare tickets
I got a call after spending over £500 on all IFollow games and club shop
Unfortunately living in West Sussex and having afternoon hospital appointment in Chichester I can’t make it
Come in you pool!

Had the call myself at 11ish and got a ticket... 2 hours later still not received my email yet (checked junk/spam). Already worrying that it wont arrive! 😄

Also got asked where I want to sit. Was all very quick, efficient and polite.

I'd give them a call. If you haven't had it within an hour it's likely something is wrong. They had my email address wrong. Ticketing is 01253 599745.

I did 44/46 games on iFollow and haven't been contacted so presumably lots of people who did 45 or all 46. Which is fair enough.

I’ve just had a phone call from the club offering me a ticket for Friday which unfortunately I’ve had to decline. I live in Cambridge and already have plans for Friday to watch the match on ifollow with my young grandkids. I’ve watched every match, probably 46 plus so nice of them to do it that way once the season ticket holders have theirs. Hoping they do the same should we get to Wembley 😃 Seems a fair way of rewarding support throughout the season.
