I think someone like Garbutt will be interesting. If we stay in Div 1 (unlikely I know 😉) then most teams would want him so it might be down to wages. Similarly with The Goal Machine, I’d say that’d be a who can offer more discussion.
 
I'd let Garbutt go, and Madine.

I'd sign up Turton an KK. Ward is a tricky one ....I'm 67. 3% in favour of signing up.
 
I’d keep Garbutt if at all possible, quality. Madine has been a good servant this year but still missed too many games with injury I’d be letting him go.
 
I’d love to keep Garbutt but I imagine there will be a lot of interest.

The most important thing for me is that we get Husband, Turton and Ward on new 2+1 contracts whatever division we’re in.

Kai Kai needs and extension and Garbutt and Madine would both be nice to have on longer deals too.

If we can do the above we go in to the next season with a very very strong core on which to build a conpetative squad regardless of division.
 
I would definitely trigger the options on Ward and Kai Kai (and probably offer new contracts). I would offer a new contract to Garbutt and a one year one to both Turton, Antwi and Husband (with an option). I suspect Madine will be offered a new contract despite his earlier bust up, but it not at any price.
 
Make no mistake that Critchley will also have his finger on the pulse to the players being released. He has proved he has a knowledge of players we'd not expect.

Garbutt, Kai Kai and Turton are a must, I just hope they don't want Championship football if we don't go up.

One positive though is as we've missed a whole season in the ground, part of me hopes a season longer in league one with a crowd and after the form we've show going up as champions
 
I'd like to keep Garbutt, Ward, Kaikai, Turton and Husband. Madine would be nice but given his injury record and salary, I suspect there is better value out there. The other huge factor is divisional status, let's not kid ourselves that our current squad, minus Simms and Ballard is quite good enough. We would probably need 5 big signings if we were to gain promotion.
