Couldn't agree more WizOne of the most iconic music performances of all time.
Really?
Why do you guys have to be snide about it? Maybe people like different music from you. Maybe that is an incredibly iconic performance to a culture that is fuck all to do with you.Couldn't agree more Wiz
Entitled to say whatever you want and RIP is fine by me, I just think being snide about his music on an RIP post is a bit of a ** move and also happy to express that opinionAlf-keep your cool we are entitled to say RIP to a fellow human being ( and mean it) even if we are not familiar with the man.
Not being snide. Its simply not iconic if the vast majority of the population have no knowledge of it.Why do you guys have to be snide about it? Maybe people like different music from you. Maybe that is an incredibly iconic performance to a culture that is fuck all to do with you.
That’s actually not the definition of iconic at all, iconic is when something is indicative and symbolic of a culture or a time or a religion or whatever. But you think the vast majority of the population is white middle class Europeans if you think Beatles on the rooftop is iconic by that metric. Trust me there have been some iconic performances across countries and cultures you aren’t acquainted with. The vast majority of people who grew up in the 90s or afterwards know about DMX at Woodstock. By your made up definition the world’s most iconic performance is probably a boy band in China. Not being snide. Its simply not iconic if the vast majority of the population have no knowledge of it.
Beatles on the roof of Apple studios. Iconic music performance.
This?

And you are completely being snide, any other time I would happily take your opinion but they just turned this man’s life support machine off after his brain wouldn’t function. There’s no need man.
They're incredible if you understand what they, and what he is about, and what happened to him growing up. I don't expect or ask you to.How about these lyrics, Alf
‘And I'm gunnin' for your spouse, tryin' to send the bitch back to her maker
And if you got a daughter older than 15, I'ma rape her
Take her on the livin' room floor, right there in front of you
Then ask you seriously, whatchu wanna do?
Frustratin', isn't it? Wanna kill me, but I'ma kill you
Now watch me fuck just a little while longer, please, will you?’
