RIP Sir Frank Williams

Aged 79.

An exciting life.

Indeed.

Putting all his obvious great achievements in the sport to the side, I think 79 is not a bad knock after his accident.

I'm far from the biggest F1 man, I know they couldn't compete at the time but I thought his daughter always came across well when she was involved.

RIP Sir Frank

God Bless

Just a quick point about some of the posts above, it wasn't Williams' fault but F1 was far from exciting when they dominated, 1992 with their active suspension was the most boring season I can remember, Mansell driving off in to the distance, 93 wasn't much better with Prost doing the same, 94 was a bloody horrific season for obvious reasons and only got close at the end because of Schumacer having points taken away off the track.

We were always huge Williams fans in our house when I was a kid. The late 80s/early 90s was when I fell in love with motorsport and he was a big part of that.

RIP Frank. May God grace you with his infinite mercy.
