Rob Apter

Not at all. He’s moved up a level, and Rob will want to follow “, hopefully with us.
Offiah is class, brilliant signing by them, but we r a division below.

Apter won't support us either and will be off like a shot when the bigger pay cheque is a coming.
If that was the Nobbers Rob wouldn't give a toss.

A total none story.

I'm really not sure of my position on this.

My brain says that it's absurd and petty to expect players to withhold well wishes to their mates just because they've signed for their employer's biggest rival but my heart says the complete opposite and that they should feel what the fans feel, or at least portray that feeling.

I won't be losing sleep either way but it's an interesting one.

Can I confess at this point and I knew anything about them other than they were serving jacket potatoes once at an event I was at that I once bought a Spud Bros jacket potato .. let the abuse begin!

We have the capability as a fan base sometimes to self implode over the slightest of things we really do.

Let's have it right the lads congratulated his mate on a move to the Championship, nothing more nothing less.

If Jordan Brown was in the building as of yesterday nobody would even have bothered creating a post about Rob Apter.

Offiah was not our player. He was a loan . He doesn’t support Blackpool , he came here , made an impact and probably enjoyed it . Then when back to Brighton . Now he has a chance to play in the championship , week in week out .
He has a really good mate called Rob . Rob , seeing his mate has been offered this opportunity , has sent his congratulations. That’s it !

Robs done nothing wrong, Offiah did a good job for us and I wish him well and hope he goes onto have a great career, I however hope that he has the worst game ever if we end up playing them whilst he is still there and I’m sure Rob would say the same too , I also hope he’s allergic to spuds

The reaction to Rob’s message and a player who was never ours joining nobbers just further proves my theory that we have one of the most insane and stupid fanbases within the country.

Just know that the those having a meltdown on here, nobbers are screenshotting your comments and laughing at you elsewhere online. And I can’t blame them - it’s ridiculous. People really need to grow a pair.

I don’t think insane and stupid elements are exclusive to our fanbase.. I think every club has it.

The way I see it. Preston are complete and utter irrelevance until we play them.

Offiah had a great season for us in league one and it was clear he was championship level player with potential to step up to the prem. We should be wishing him luck for the rest of the career not crying about one of his former teammates congratulating him.

I think the overarching problem here is social media giving platforms to absolute morons.

Bingo !

Since when were Brighton Preston’s biggest rivals?

It's the equivalent of a colleague moving on with his career to a new job for more money and doing the job at a higher level. Players won't care what team their mates go to, just as I wouldn't care what firm anyone I worked with moved to, if it means a move up in their career.

Some fans seem to think a player has to love the club as much as we do. They don't, they never will and we don't need them to. We just need them to put everything in for us when they do the job, just as professionals in any career would.

The players should have anticipated that this was going to happen when he signed on loan for us and not spoken to him at all throughout the whole season. In fact there should be a clause in any players contract so they have to have an "I hate PNE" tattoo on their arm for all to see and never ever be allowed to sign for them. Unless they are really shit.

Daftest thread on here for some time!
