Just watching a bit of Wimbledon tennis and I’d like to know if anyone can advise me where the nearest Rolex Dealer / Trader to Blackpool is ?

Thanks ……

Nearest official retailer is Preston. I went to their new Battersea location last week which was outstanding and which is neighboured by Omega, Cartier, Longines, IWC to name a few. A horologist's paradise.

I used watchfinder.co.uk for mine, a very slick service and they are very good at sourcing whatever watch you are looking for.

I went to a Rolex hosted evening at Whittles in Preston last year with a few characters and Seasiders from Poulton and Lytham.

Food and drink were excellent as was their metallurgist (she had awesome knowledge of stones).

Not one of the watches had a calculator or snake on it though.....

Ramsdens on corporation st, go on their website and ask the shop to get it transfered from another store and they will get it in for you

I'm wearing a Breitling Avenger Chronograph 45 blue that Mrs Mullet bought me for our wedding anniversary.
Fantastic watch, just right for me.
I have a Breitling Superocean Heritage B20 that I bought from the Trafford centre. I love my watch.

She bought it from Whittles in Preston, now goes under the nane Loupe.
Although not a necessity a decent watch winder keeps a good watch running and will extend the life of your watch.
I use a Wolf, single.

Just buy yourself a lovely bracelet if you like shiny things and use your phone if you need to know the time.

I’m in Morocco at the moment, let me know the model you want and if you want a first copy or 2 nd copy, I’ve got rather friendly with a lucky lucky man who always stands on the corner of my riad, watches and hash are his specialty but I’m not in the market for a watch (nor hash that’s my attempt at humour)

I'll take a submersible if they have that model, hope to double my £20 to £40 if it's still going strong in 10 years or so.

Loupe in Preston is where you need to go. You will get excellent service - although if you are after a specific model and you and haven’t had any previous purchase history as a Rolex customer, you are likely to have to wait a long time to get the watch you want.

Sorted, as we’ve become friends I’ve knocked him down to 150 dirhams with a small tagine lid and a blue LED light that you propell into the sky with an elastic band thrown in, I’m keeping the lid and LED for my bargaining power but I can assure you you’ll be made up with the watch

Overrated, prefer Omega personally
Omega went massively down hill after Swatch bought them out. They used to represent good value but are now priced similar to Rolex. I had a limited edition Seamaster and it wasn't very reliable and even the badge fell off. I joked it went abroad more times than me, so often was it going back to Switzerland to be repaired.

I have no idea why anyone would buy this over priced crap…..oh i forgot my brother in law did and more than one.

The ultimate ego trip for what…to tell the time.
Same could be said about having a big house, what's wrong with a 2 up 2 down terrace?
Fancy car? Just buy a hundai i30 it's only for getting fro. A to B.
Decent clothes? Don't be bloody stupid Primark are quality.
Why on earth wouldn't you want to treat yourself to nice things if you can afford it?
Is it an ego trip or the other person's jealousy of not being able to afford those things🤷

I know what you mean regarding the Quality, but I just prefer the look of them over a Rolex, always look so good on the arm.

I bought a Breitling in Bedford over 20+ years ago.
Had a problem with it, took it back, but it was never resolved.
I told them not to bother.
I then bought a Seiko Solar for a lower price.
Best watch ever, keeps perfect time. Has 'Day & Date' on it.
Perfect for me.

Depends on the people, could be one of those things, could be both of those things or it could be neither of them.
I am in the no watch, 2 up 2 down, cheap car camp with money in the bank no debt and not anxious about protecting my possessions. I also like to have a few nice trips away and money for decent food and drink.
Makes life a lot more relaxed for me and takes away the anxiety and pressure of protecting and maintaining expensive stuff, i don't really care what people think about my posessions just as I'm not impressed or unimpressed by theirs.
If i was to be jealous of something it would be somebody that lived in a beautiful place, with a bit of space around them and complete freedom and security from any financial pressures and the thing they are living in could be a caravan or a big shed!
But each to their own if you aren't hurting anyone spend your money however you like.
