On the official site confirming they have been released. Both players contracts were due to expire at the end of the season.
Roache will have been a team mate of new boy Connor Ronan as a junior Republic of Ireland international.
How do I do link?
 
Roache was rated highly for years wasn't he? Shame it never escalated into more first team appearances but unfortunately our academy hasn't really been given a chance for some time now and LG doesn't seem one to give them a shot either.

Emil had a really good end to his apprenticeship and got a contract on the strength of those 3 months. I was a little bit surprised.
I watched Roache throughout his Youth team career. He was always the "big fish" and had the attitude to go with it. He was in charge of all set plays and scored and created plenty of goals from them. His weakness was that he simply wasn't a good team player.
As a Youth he got away with that because abilitywise he was top dog.
The move up to Senior level presented him with a whole different set of problems and I don't think he ever adapted. All IMO of course.
