Steady on. I pay for what I watch but I wouldn't wish violence on anyone. I don't actually think you do so I get the strength of feeling.I think people who cheat clubs like this should be birched. I'd watch a bootleg stream of that in a heartbeat.
Well said but people want something for relatively nothing. It's theft, simple as that!
Wether it's movies or sport or indeed, any payable content, watching illegally is theft!
If you think it cost too much then don't buy it, simple
If you go to the shop and you can't afford or don't want too afford a product then you don't buy it, you don't just take it or pay someone to rob it for you.
I don't know how any person with morals can see this differently,
Ps, I cancelled Sky as I wasn't getting value from it as I go to matches and if I couldn't then would prefer to socialise in a pub, I'm gutted when I have to miss a match but rather that than thieve or take out another sky and bt contract when we will back in pubs in two weeks ( fingers crossed)

GOOD!!!! I leave mine unlocked so that's encouraging. Anyway you wouldn't know the ejector seats are on timedWell said but people want something for relatively nothing.
I’d love an Aston Martin but I’m not going to nick one!!!
The EFL's issue will always be the poor quality of the product they offer for the price point
They ' got away with it ' when it was only really for fans living abroad who might pay about a fiver a game over the season but it's really not fit for purpose when you are charging fans the thick end of £500 to watch their clubs
One camera angle and borrowed radio commentary - it's pretty amateur
It's about time they and the Clubs upped their game IMO or reduce the price point to reflect the poor quality of the product
But when they revert back to only allowing people outside the UK to view would it be immoral then? It's theft, simple as that!

Exactly. It used to be people wanting something for nothing. Now they expect it.It's theft, simple as that!

When it reverts to abroad only it will be because we're back in the grounds. So yes, it still will be. Go to the games. But when they revert back to only allowing people outside the UK to view would it be immoral then?
The UK VPN crowd will then be back out in force getting it on the cheap still illegal but hey the club gets some money. When it reverts to abroad only it will be because we're back in the grounds. So yes, it still will be. Go to the games.
Think that's harsh when we get the genius of Chizzyvision and Brett's heavy breathing exploits - and all for the bargain price of a tennerThe EFL's issue will always be the poor quality of the product they offer for the price point

Football without fans is utter dog shite. Free is too expensive.
Just like yourself am a season ticket holder and also have IPTV. Having gone through the legal channels to watch or home games have once ended up paying again and on two occasions not even been able to access the games. Along with several other streaming and viewing problems have reverted to having go on IPTV and guess what?, one click of a button and straight onto a stream. It's just not EFL clubs who lose out to IPTV all sports do including movies you could make the price a quid for a game and still people wouldn't pay why would you when you can get it all for free?
The service providers should be doing more but then people are buying VPN to trick them anyway so the article is a waste of time.
And before anyone jumps down my throat I've a ST, pay for Sky don't watch movies and have IPTV but after the last two away games where I paid I-follow and it didn't work they can swivel getting anymore tenners off me and will only pay for cup games.
The thing with IPTV it doesn't matter what you watch your defrauding someone the do-gooders are hypocrites like they have never illegally recorded, bought a dodgy DVD,took a drug or even paid cash in hand etc etc I bet half of them use a VPN or IPTV anyway and because people are defrauding our club they try to take the moral high ground.Just like yourself am a season ticket holder and also have IPTV. Make a product fit for purpose and at £10 a game should have a little match preview before a game and definitely something during halftime. This in my opinion would go a long way to helping address the problem of Ifollow pirate streams.
If they improve the product, the proportion of the money to the clubs will drop surely?.The EFL's issue will always be the poor quality of the product they offer for the price point

Pandemic or no pandemic, living life vicariously through tech is bad for MH. Fake socialisation, fake experiences, fake emotions, real detachment.Ordinarily yes - during a global pandemic really grateful to have it.

So where does that leave someone like myself that has paid for a season ticket so get the free stream codes/e.mails but due to not being able to access them due to faulty links have to revert to IPTV??.Tam
Reducing the price point or improving the quality wont make a difference.
If its free or a fiver people will still do it for free. People are saying they wont pay a tenner for it but its just to justify their illegal actions . They still watch it.
Until the authorities get a grip on it unfortunately it will continue as there are some people who want to cheat clubs.
If ever there was a club whose supporters should be 100 per cent behind their owner in aspects relating to club revenue it should be Blackpool.
I suspect it would be rather demoralising for SS who as we know is one of us if he found any Blackpool fans were illegally streaming BFC games.
I hope no Blackpool fans are illegally streaming these matches.

I repeat it's up to the industry to do more to stop the streams take away that and the only way to watch will be to pay.
So he product is poor and security is weak so to theive it is ok?People are saying it's cheap. It's £50 a month. For the product on offer that is not cheap.
The argument that the majority of the money goes to the club is weak, it's poor value.
I'm responding to the suggestion that it's only a tenner - to add it's more for season ticket holders. So he product is poor and security is weak so to theive it is ok?
Unbelievable!
If you don't think it's value then don't buy it, what is hard to understand?
Unless you are an old f@rt.I'm responding to the suggestion that it's only a tenner - to add it's more for season ticket holders.
When I brought my season ticket I did so in the knowledge that I may not get to see many games, however I decided to try and support the club in bad times.I'm responding to the suggestion that it's only a tenner - to add it's more for season ticket holders.
You’ve hit the nail on the head. I’ve paid my tenner on 5 occasions thus far this season. I can’t think of anything else of that presentation quality that people would pay a tenner for, and I’m only paying it because of emotional connection and the pandemic. I’m picking and choosing my games now because as TAM says the product is not (under normal circumstances) worth £10. in its current format I’d say it’s true value is around £3 to £4.The EFL's issue will always be the poor quality of the product they offer for the price point

I personally think this line is bollocks and without substance Insider. It's a guess. It's not expensive, PER GAME, but add 9 games a month and that's 90 quid of which fortunately I can afford but others can't. A very very slim minded view from you and not what I normally expect. There's a number of points to consider.
First of all its NOT expensive. I'd hazard a guess that in the majority of cases more than one person will be watching for that price. £5 each?? (that's not alot!)
It isn't a great product, far from it.
However some of the viewing quality issues are due to the individuals Internet inadequacies and not making the most of the settings.
As an ifollower user from it's inception it has definitely improved.
Of course in the past there was no UK ifollow on Saturdays so the audience was significantly less which reflects the lack of investment by the EFL.
So if they invested now (when times are 'ard) would this be a sensible investment for hopefully a short term fix.
In the alternative would fans be prepared to pay the match ticket price on the same basis as "real" ticket sales are allocated to clubs (ie your money might not go to your own club) to be able to watch all games post-panademic.
I would.
Agree with all these points, so don't buy it, it's a choice. Also some points to consider on the cost of the iFollow ticket is that there isn't any form of subscription fee spread across the games to potentially lower the price for people. In general it's a poor product, we've got EXTREMLY poor commentators week in week out. It's actual abject how embarrassingly bad it has been. I would be fired if I made the same amount of errors he does per week. Almost one mistake a minute during games is shocking. Paying 10 quid is okay for a game, paying 10 quid for poor video quality and poor commentary is not ok.
Do you include theft in there?I have an idea - why doesn't everyone just make the decision they feel most comfortable with.
I don't get involved in other people's decisions unless they impact me personally. Simple really.Do you include theft in there?
Where do you draw the line with live and let live?
People are saying it's cheap. It's £50 a month. For the product on offer that is not cheap.

Wow, anarchy rules!I don't get involved in other people's decisions unless they impact me personally. Simple really.
If you think a few people watching a football match without paying is anarchy you need to get some perspective.Wow, anarchy rules!
