Can someone explain this to me because I just don't get it.
You stand up in a pen with a seat behind you? What's the point of that?
Surely standing up is about meeting in groups, freedom of movement, surging down the terrace and jumping about when a goal goes in. Not being hemmed in by bars and seats. Think I'd rather just sit down to be honest if that's the alternative...It has all the negatives and none of the joy.

Not sure what you mean by "you stand up in a pen" but here's a video that might be able to explain more.

All it is is a stand full of seats with a rail between you and the seat in front, think of it as a zimmer frame. It's nowhere near the same as terracing, you just stand at your seat and cannot move around.
