Scott Benton

The Equality Act of 2010 brought together over 116 separate pieces of legislation into one single Act.

The Act provides a legal framework to protect the rights of individuals and advance equality of opportunity for all.

It provided Britain with a discrimination law which protects individuals from unfair treatment and promotes a fair and more equal society.

The basic rights enshrined in the Act are based on shared values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect and independence. These values are defined and protected by law.

The Act was introduced by the Conservative-led coalition Government, following much preparity work undertaken initially by the preceding Labour Government.

So there we have it. A piece of consensual legislation prepared by people from across the Liberal Democratic spectrum. Designed to protect individuals and groups alike - and Scott Benton hates it. That says far more about him than it says about our citizens' belief in the integrity of human rights.

The man is an utter verminous individual and is showing this weekly with his votes in Parliament and his attitude to the constituency he represents.

Not my constituency so I understand I am not aware of all the great things Iā€™m sure he does locally. I can only judge by his votes in Parliament and the lobbying he does.

All said. His work outside of the constituency has rewarded him with fortunes (betting company darling that he is) so Iā€™m sure most of the people in his constituency can relate to his lifestyle šŸ˜”

He is aiming at the wrong legislation. The UN global compact on migration is the core problem. It effectively removes any possibility for a country to enforce any kind of restrictions upon migration.

Thatā€™d be an interesting rule if all MPs had to live in their actual constituency and not have a second home.

A vast majority of MPs do it, and MPs from all parties, not just the one.

I agree though, it should be changed, and anyone standing to be an MP should actually live in that town/city.
His name alone is reminiscent of the referee that had to be moved on when the Vermin family were under attack

Not sure why the crown estate doesn't build an MPs hotel (or hotels) close to the HoP where they can stay in reasonably nice accommodation free of charge. Each MP could get a room (or suite - bathroom, bed sitting room, office room) for their personal use during that parliament. No need for second home allowances with all of the abuses that enables and combined with the suggestion above could be a vote winner.

Thought that for some time. There are drawbacks - missile attack with all our eggs in one basket. Even so, good thinking.

First class Cnut that takes freebies from the bookmakers while promoting gambling in one of the poorest constituencyā€™s in the UK.

Trickledown economics writ large.

I suspect a product of our minor public schools. Usually the slower ones end up in property where they can't do much harm.

This happened today, this is the sort of people that Scott Benton are pandering to. The new blackshirts, scum.Screenshot_20211201-182147_Twitter.jpg
