Tim was last sighted at a country house striding around manfully in mustard coloured clothing so with us a bit uncertain if he's ascended to his natural role of landed gentry who will be too busy organising pheasant shoots and suchlike, I've assumed the role of informing you that there is an episode of what AVFTT now calls 'aging fellas give ill informed opinions (and Nick gives reasoned views)' aka the 'Seasiders Podcast' tonight at 8pm.

We'll talk about the game from the weekend and then pick the team for Port Vale* and all of that stuff that we usually do.

*This section will include me refusing to countenance dropping Sonny Carey in the face of any and all evidence because that's what will inevitably happen

Yeah, we did - It was the Worthington era, we lost 3-1 irc and Clarkson scored I think. The one I was on about was 2018 - I looked it up. It was at the Emirates and we did ok lost 2-1 - I say 'we' but I remember thinking how weird it was that I didn't really know anyone. It's been forgetten I guess cos the FA cup one later was more dramatic in terms of the boycott and events.
 
Agree with John about Marc hitting diagonals but better still get Grimmy to find another player in tangerine and leave Marv doing what he does best defending.
