Season ticket sales thus far

Snapshot of the planner.

20220526_194549.jpg

Seats reserved for all st holders obviously but ahead of last season, north completely sold out including all the previously netted off seats presumably, definitely saw some available. First corner block nearly gone. Obviously some will come back on when some don't renew.

Found the thread from last time.

I wonder if @Tangerine Tractor still has the dot counting method and can do again?

The old man went down to the ticket office last Friday to renew ours and said there was a bit of a queue. The girl in the ticket office told him they’re expecting to see more sales this year. Obviously that was day 1 so I’m hoping that optimism has continued ! Anyone know any new ST holders for this season ?

I'll think about it... 😁

Oh, please ! I invented the Season Ticket monitoring method by counting the dots on the club’s online maps of the stands, in the boycott years of the Stains in about 2016-18. It was laborious.

I estimated 1536 STs sold in their last poorest year and spread that info wide on AVFTT to boost support of the boycott. In fact, it pissed them off so much that they took down the active plans of seats sold with the grey and green dots. The Stains management finally admitted to about 1546 sold.

That got me my highest ever AVFTT thread count, about 450 in total. It’s my only claim to fame, so I slightly resent you thinking that T-Tractor can claim credit for it, 4 years later.

Hate to break it to you but people have been counting dots for years.

Yet with all the bluster still no current count, no estimate. 👎

TT did the thread last year with a counting app, much easier than by eye.

Many were involved, me included but yet given your clear pioneering skills in the industry you were nowhere to be seen, you abandoned the last count, still dining out on your 450 thread seemingly 🙄

So I'm sorry to say you've let yourself down and the millions who were waiting for your next big contribution.

A real shame.

Just did a quick count on the seat planner.

Bear in mind, all ST's are reserved still, so some will come back on if and when they don't sell.

We also have the north seats now back in use so I've used a full stand capacity to calculate that, definitely saw some of them on sale and now all sold out, so either people have moved or new sales there.

Not sure if people do move if it undoes their old seat yet, so bear that in mind.

We also have the front row of the south not available, presumably disabled so am assuming that'll be sold out eventually, but they don't put on there so people don't take them?

Also m block is likely to have seats reserved for the hospitality people who get put there.

So this count will be over the actual amount even of we all renew.

But interesting nevertheless to see.

I count 1347 seats still available.

Minus off the N, N corner, west, S corner and south stand capacity of 10,519. (Edited for typo, sum was correct)

That leaves 9172 as unavailable.

But as said it will be less than that and far too many unknowns yet before we say for sure, but does seem to me it should be ahead of last year.

Got 2 today- the man we spoke to said sales were at about 3,000 so far. Don’t know whether we’re above or below that, but around that number, after a week.

Bloody Hell @Archibald Knox - hope you hunted down the 8 bar stewards who bought after your fine detective work! More of the sample this summer please as BFC seem very reluctant to talk ticket sales for some reason!

If we get to anything like that, it would be a real result. Arguably this season more than last, now we have the training ground and the East development coming up, there is more reason than ever to show support for Simon and what he's doing at Bloomfield Road.
Let's break the 10,000 and shut the noisy neighbours up down the road!

Yeah as mentioned in all the caveats it'll be less than that, as an unknown amount usually don't renew plus an unknown amount of those seats could be reserved or if people have moved not sure if the seats shows up again yet (it should), but still loads of time. Plus last season the counts were less than the actual.

But seems ahead of last season and reports of new st holders....not necessarily brand new fans.

Can still market the hell out of it with all the local derbies a big selling point....

One advantage of going late is our early bird will be live when we sign some players, which can generate a buzz.

'Noisy' neighbours? 😅

But yeah it'd be great to get close to what they get without the heavy discounts and under 11s for free for eg they have. Should remember that, their amount sold will include quite a lot of kids under 11 for free.

There's going to be very few seats for match tickets, and they'll be shit seats. Even less reason to pay the new prices! I hope they start using part of the east for home fans as a regualr thing.

From a Rovers Forum ...

Rovers will sadly have One of the lowest attendances again this season whoever is in charge.
A few weeks ago Burnley had sold 12,416 early bird tickets, Wigan 10,000, PNE close to 6,000 and Blackpool 5,000 obviously more than that now.
Not seen any figures from BRFC

Saw that but no idea where they get their figures for us from.

Last info was about 3k sold, someone said they asked, although I did the seat count but thats not sales yet.

They also list clubs by cheapest ST and many do this and have us low down as we have a ST in the family area for 309. But the family area only hold about 800 and you have to buy a junior ticket too to get that.

Our ST price for adults is 369 so paints a false comparison really.

Bloody hell…. Smashing the ticket sales. Sold more than PKE and their freebies they’ve been handing out

No they aren't sold yet and there's too many unknown amounts of seats to be deducted from that.

It was just to give an idea of what the seat planner showed.

Promising though.

How old are you ?

A decent Knobber chap I know, reckoned they'd sold 10,000 when he spoke to me this morning. Poor fuckers.

Oh look, the people who call us thick are being thick again.

I mean I couldn't have put any more caveats in the post and explained it for people to understand...

This guy is clearly making it up and knows nothing about our ground or indeed how that total was done...

What netted areas....

The 9172 doesn't include any netted off areas aka segregation, its the 3 home sides, the only things that'll reduce the actual number I've covered in that post. Nothing to do with the part of the east stand or SE corner which is left empty for segregation. Its not a ST count yet as they have to renew, which you'd hope most will.

Talk about thick, to think the segregation areas are included in that 9172 🤡

20220530_235905.jpg

I mean... yeah complete nonsense. But remember its us who make stuff up.... 🤦‍♂️

Screenshot_20220531-001538_Chrome.jpg

Oh damn, what a silly error I've made, I accidentally counted the segregation areas, yep, there's only 4k seats unavailable, despite us having over 8k season tickets last season, which are reserved still.....

🥴

Did you just take in your old card and pay? Is that all you need? Me and the lad waiting til the end of June mind, but part of me is itching to get it now. 😁
tang, did it by phone and was told to keep last seasons card as it will be updated for next season.

Nobbers will sell more because they believe in the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ almighty and have the capacity to offer cheaper tickets. Regardless, it will still be a soulless hole that will quickly turn to boos when they finally realise Ridsdale has pulled their pants down and Lowe is a complete fraud. The more they bull themselves up now, is going to make the inevitable fall even more amusing. No Archer, Iverson, or Batttenburg, plus a raft of players out of contract will mean a new squad of cheap replacements so they can try and make the books a little more attractive for some mug that may actually express an interest in their club.

they really are obsessed and the self confessed biggest club in the league or so they think. as they are literally almost giving tickets away they think they can lord it over on us because they will naturally sell more.
