Yeah it's good at that price for getting fans in, not as good at making cash if you want to be sustainable unless you really hit even higher numbers.I'm not sure why anybody would want to be critical of the Preston ticket sales and policy
Free kids and cheap tickers, whats not to like about that?
Football is generally too expensive in this country and if a club is trying to do something to break the mold surely they should be applauded for it
Even if it is the bastards from down the road
I've said myself we should do more but I wouldn't want the club losing cash like the nobbers seem happy to do each year.
I think its more the daft nobbers who then say we're smashing them in sales, despite our early bird window only going a couple of weeks and clearly at that level you'd expect what we're seeing now.
Let's face it they're only doing it now because the owners want to sell, they literally tried to unload to the first chancer who came along, then suddenly its cheap ticket time, bit of a coincidence.
The season before at a higher price they only sold around 7.2k ST, with aprox 2.4k full paying adults. Which for a Championship club is staggeringly low. No wonder they lose money.
They call us tinpot but that is a terrible amount.
