Wow - got to renew by early April for early bird prices!

Sunderland AFC supporters have watched their side go undefeated at the Stadium of Light in 2020 and as Phil Parkinson’s side prepare for the final run-in, season card holders will be able to take advantage of early bird pricing and renew their seat for the 2020-21 campaign when renewal packs arrive next week.

Early bird prices ensure that supporters won’t pay any more for their seat next season than they did for 2019-20, providing they renew by the deadline.

KEY DATES & DEADLINES
4pm, Thursday 9 April - deadline to renew your current seat

4pm, Thursday 16 April - deadline to pay by Direct Debit

I think the point is that some clubs think way beyond the end of this season and already looking to next. Clearly hoping to cash in on the hope that they will get promoted.

Dirtys have to be in by March 27th and they've orchestrated a social media meme to say you've renewed. There really should be a EFL directive on when STs should be put on sale because unscrupulous owners can clean up before selling the club on.

If a season ticket is paid for by credit card isn't the cash only released after each game has been played?

I'm not sure but some clubs wont do a credit card as such. Our lot are doing a credit service but its been shown to be a rip off,so many have gone for cash or debit payments.
I'd like to see some sort of regulation on this so fans don't get hammered, nor indeed have their data sold on which Leeds were/are planning to do.

keep saying that the club should have offered a 12 month plan which started immediately after this years. We'd already be 2 months in by now (well by monday) .

I'd be happily paying towards next year, plus it's a massive help with budgeting. As with most DD's its just rolled up into the 1st month expenses. Not a major issue for me now as I only pay my own but previously bought 4.
