The rearranged meeting took place by Zoom on Wednesday 2nd September. Representatives from BASIL, BSA, BST, FPA, TKs and YS attended. The MSG and Tangerine Seasiders were invited but were unable to attend. Present from Blackpool FC: Ben Mansford (BM) Linton Brown (LB) Brett Gerrity (BG).

The minutes are too long to fit into an AVFTT thread so link here to club website if you want to read/download and save a copy of these minutes:

FYI. These meetings will take place every two months through the season, exact schedule to be finalised and communicated shortly.

Great news although the BASIL lads could have hopped on a socially distancing no:9 bus outside the 'Stute and joined in at BR.

Freddie Garrity representing the club? I like it,I like it...

I'm sorry but what a load of old bollux.
Just a quote about a subject close to my heart.

"Will fans be allowed in to watch Youth and Ladies home games? (n/a) BM: Due to Government advice, supporters can’t attend to watch games. Again, club is closely following Government and EFL advice."

Since when was Category 3 u/18 football categorised over 7th tier league football.

Thanks - good read.

I take it no one asked how the new training ground is developing?
No, but there were very favourable reports back about the new facilities that SS has funded at the old training ground, helping to make for a happy and motivated squad of players.

I'm in constant discussion about when fans might be allowed into Youth games.

Plumbs, you’ve mixed up your Freddie and the Dreamers with your Gerry and the Pacemakers old pal

Steve shirts idea needs crediting to MSG not TK, we were merely following it up to see if it was going to happen. Could you edit it please?

No, I can't edit the minutes - but the fan group initials only indicate which group raised the question for Wednesday's meeting, not who instigated the original idea (which dates back to the very first SD meeting of last season when the MSG first put it forward).

Had a walk along the Wyre today. It looked as if I'd been wearing short shorts I could have waded across.
I've walked across it to Wardleys at low tide but its a bit treacherous. Tide comes in fast and to be honest is a bit scary. 😵

Thanks Steve, a great read!! Loads to be positive about, 4k season ticket sales is amazing considering the uncertainty, despite the difficulties the club are definitely on the up with SS at the helm!! 🍊👍🏻

Nothing there we didn't really know - have always hated anything that involves fans asking questions because some of those were a bit cringe!

which ones Paul? Just out of interest what would you ask the directors?

Does he know the reason behind why some of these questions get asked?.
Thanks for publishing Steve and thanks for using your time to help the way you do. 👍
