This is the name that keeps cropping up and he has been clipped into 16/1 this morning on Skybet. He was a real surprise inclusion into the mix and was first mentioned a week before Grayson was potted. In fact it is so left field that there must be some element of truth to it as surely you couldnt make it up. Apparently plays a flowing attacking style and might be someone the fans could take to and unite behind. His CV and wiki page are pretty impressive. If its not Jones or Evatt then maybe just maybe it could be Sergio.

Or, possibly, the initial mention of him had no truth in it.
However, due to his name being mentioned on message boards and twitter, and possibly someone taking a flyer on him and placing a bet, he has appeared in the list of possibles at the bookies.
He gets an initial thumbs up from me purely because he isn't Paul Heckingbottom.

I suspect he will be a difficult character to work with. He’s never been in one job for more than 90 odd games and recently left his role, due to “differences of opinion” with the owner.

90 odd games is 2 seasons, that is quite a long time in modern football management.

You could be right Daz but his name does keep cropping up and he is the only one to have contacted in price in what has become a stagnant market. If Jones doesnt take the job today then I think he is done tbh and has probably turned us down.

Evatt has been in charge of Barrow for 80, which apparently isn't enough for this board.

Maybe they rate the standard of football in Goa higher than our Conference National League 🤔

Jones was probably my 1st choice of those mentioned but i'd prefer someone mad keen to come and the fact he's unsure about relocating (according to scrafton) is off putting to me,out of the rest i'd prefer Evo but that looks unlikely so god knows.

I’m not so sure... most decent managers will have had a 3-4 season stint at least.

After 2 seasons is just about the point where you could actually claim a manager is starting to fully become his own man.
