Just drove past my local petrol station in Thornton and noticed the price of Diesel & petrol has been cut by 4p a litre.

Nowhere near enough.

Just looking at the price for Brent Crude.

It's gone down by 5.5% in the last month.

There's something really ** enraging about the way businesses make profits in times of crisis - was reading something about how interest rates on mortgages have gone up, but not yet on savings. Feels like banks and oil/energy companies are taking the piss to me.

Don’t worry farmers have just said chips will be going up due to the heat affecting potato crops.

Pretty quick that, you don’t ever hear farmers or any other company saying, oh great news, we’ve had great weather, or any other reason, so we’re reducing prices

I went past an Esso near Lancaster on Friday and it was £1.80 for unleaded. Nearly crashed the car.

Had to keep driving round the block for a couple of hours to make enough room in the tank to fill up.
