Sides that were better than this Liverpool team?

Bearing in mind how far ahead in the league this Liverpool side are, can you name a better side than this one or is it more a reflection of how average this Premier League is?
 
It seems to be a feature of the top flight that close title run ins are becoming a thing of the past. This Liverpool team are a great unit with a top manager and are one of the best in living memory. Would love to see Arsennes unbeaten Arse team v this current Liverpool team and see who came out on top!
 
Bit of both. It's a reflection of the structural inequality. City are good but the other big teams are in transition. The rest (i.e. Leicester as the best and everyone from Everton below) have had 30 years of the top four being massively rewarded financially for getting into Europe and it shows. In the 'old days' I think the entire league was much more compressed in terms of ability and finance so I'd argue, it's easier these days to be miles ahead.

They are very good though. Very, very good. Just don't tell them.
 
Klopp has both good players and an astonishing team spirit. It's the latter that makes them special in my opinion. I think player on player, there's several teams from recent past that could take them on but they have an unbelievable mentality that separates them.
 
Can I be honest? They don’t excite me as much as some of the United and Liverpool sides of the 80’s and 90’s who I loved watching!
 
I think the thing that disappoints me is that none of the Premier League teams have really given them a fight. In fact probably their toughest test was that game against United purely because Ollie set them out not to lose. Could be seeing the Champions of England for the next 5 or so years. Are we still the last team to do the double over them or have I made that up!!
