Meanwhile Robinson runaway favourite, I have a sneaky feeling Robinson using it as leverage to get the board to commit to budgets / new stadium.

You see it with players public criticism of the club, next day sign a new deal.

Cant see anything in it myself. If its a no to Evo for not having the experience then this guy would be an odd appointment. Im sure he does have a badge saying he can manage in the top division but so do a lot of other really really sh*t managers. Between this guy and Evo, there isn't really an argument to be made for him. From whats doing the rounds at the moment Robinson seems the best fit, whether he does actually want to come rather than get a better contract or money for players etc who knows.
 
His write up online is actually quite interesting. U23 manager / coach at Brighton for 5 years (He replaced a certain Nathan Jones) credited with some Brighton players breaking into the 1st team such as Connolly, March etc.

Won promotion to Premier League 2 Division won and finished 3rd in that division last season.

I know he is no household name or a wow name but perhaps has the pedigree to become an outstanding manager at a level such as ours? They don't hand UEFA pro licences out like toffees.

5 years at one club is a tick in a box despite managerial changes (Hughton to Potter) etc he is still there. Must be highly regarded.

Graham Potter wasn't a name in the managerial circuit until the last 18mth or so.

This one needs an open minded approach if was to appoint.
 
Yeah, in Sadler we trust, whatever happens. He's shown he’s not content to just get by with the cheap option and also that he'll change things if it isn’t working.
 
I wonder if we might even end up going back to Evo if it turns out other applicants expectations are too high and their wages out of our reach - at least Evo would be cheap and knows Squires Gate!
 
Suspicions confirmed however you dress it up!!

He did it to another team a while back, my mate was head of communications at said club. As soon as the news broke about an approach he text me Tuesday saying he is a sh*thouse and to steer clear.
