Isn't it great to have an owner that doesn't accept sub standard performance and results, and who believes that bottom half of league one absolutely shouldn't be the limit of our ambition.
I can fully understand why he made the appointment in the first place. Grayson is a highly successful league one manager. But I never think it's a good idea to go back, and so it has proven. This is the inevitable conclusion if you fail to get results whilst having what is likely one of the biggest budgets in the league.
It's surprising that it's happened after signing so many players in January, but I'm glad it has because we can't afford to write off next season too.
Decisive, and another positive step. I really hope the next appointment is Evatt or Wellens - someone with a connection to the club whilst also showing signs of becoming good managers.
