SLO feedback - the poor steward on Turnstile 6

Getting pelters before the game through no fault of this own. People queueing up there for a while only to be told when they got to the front that it was a POTG turnstile.

SLO - maybe if the Club is going to do this in future the turnstile could be appropriately signposted.

surely it's common sense to have a steward outside the turnstile just constantly walking along the line telling them that too.
The thing is though he wasn't doing that and at one point a queue of about 30 with tickets wasting there time at turnstile 5 which didn't go down well.

Common sense would say maybe have one designated POTG turnstile for each stand then everyone would know not to queue up there with a ticket, or God forbid have turnstiles that allow ticket holders and POTG

All comments noted and I'll investigate. I believe the POTG option was introduced because the ticket office closed at 12.00 and the advice that tickets could be purchased "up until kick-off" online or via phone for collection from the Seasiders Way ticket booth wasn't 100% practical.

Thanks for the quick response. It did all seem a a bit confused and last minute with staff also stood outside the ticket office handing out tickets.

Does beg the question why the ticket office closes on match day
This seems totally counterintuitive to me, particularly as the office staff still seemed to be there. Apart from causing issues with ticket sales, as others have said seems like a lost opportunity for the club shop as well.

Can you look at why Print At Home tickets constantly fail too please ? The bar codes don’t quite line up and it’s not my printer. Surely tickets should be able to be downloaded to the app if purchased online ?

I was told the decision to close the ticket office/club shop at midday was because away fans were given the south stand (not normally the case obvs).

Steve there is also an issue with TTV, there is no link or option to buy the TTV stream for the season on the Club website as of yesterday afternoon.

Also fans who have bought the match streams for the friendly games have been charged 3, 4 or 5 times and not refunded yet.

TTV and refunds need sorting with only 6 days to go …..

There were two threads on these issues yesterday before and during the game

Are we all of a sudden going a bit Tim pot, no info on pay on the gate early enough, I didn’t even know about the new bar in the North till this morning. Everton fans in the West stand, unnecessary they had plenty of seats in the south and East. Stewards stinking the place out, unable to eject an idiot from the North for about 10-15 minutes, Nothing coming out of the club but failed transfers, MA must be thinking WTF going on. Rant over, and breath.

Did we close the Club Shop last season in the Carabao Cup when Sunderland had the South and what was the research to base this decision on? Expected trouble?
