Smile Ian

He looks like someone who has been let down badly, and probably worried that he hasn’t got the squad he needs or wants

What you see is what you get.
Evvo is a proud man & a fighter. His face speaks volumes about what he thinks of our teams lacklustre, defeatist performance.
Good leaders don't smile when they're let down.
Wasn't that long ago the rallying call we were all in this together cane from the manager.
High risk calling players out, after what, 5 weeks?
Not a case of smiling but if he pisses off what he has, bear in mind we are down to the bare bones, is that the mark of a good leader?

He cant change that until Jan.
Its been his way of playing from day 1, despite not having the players he needs for his style, formation of set up / play.

I must of missed him calling players out, he hasn't done that at all. He looks really pissed off though, like he's just had a terrible training session or a bad meeting with Sadler or Downes, the body language was shocking. I don't think it's a particularly happy club and hasn't been for a few years.

I can tell you, (YES from a source next to “The Horses Mouth!!), the dressing room was like a “morge” on Saturday, with disappointmented players who truely felt they had let down the fans and their manager.

However, let’s get something “right” here, the players love the new training regime and a manager who has defined medium-term plan, to improve things permanently and is taking the time and effort to get to know ALL the players including the U18’s personally.

Steve Bruce didn’t even know all their names…..FACT !!!

The players were “desperate” to get back training yesterday to put things right and learn from Saturday’s “nightmare”.

That seems a very “professional” attitude from all concerned after a “very bad day at the office” on Saturday!!

We ARE all in this together, perhaps as “fans” we could improve, by all means if you want to beat the traffic and the crap Police Ground Mangement of crowd egress (week in week out) why not go down to the bottom on 90minutes for when the added time board goes up?
”Throwning Toys Out Of The Pram” undertaking a “stampede” on 81 minutes when we conceded a 3rd goal is hardly going to help build the confidence up of a “remorseful” losing set of players is it???

I think we can ALL improve 🧡 !!

ONWARDS & UPWARDS 🧡🧡 !!

I stayed to the bitter end and I think that's the first time that I was out of the car park in minutes. I think at least half of the car park had left early?

He hasn’t called any players out.

Stop making things up.

Which players has he called out? The stories coming out are that the players are enjoying his management & training. They can see & will have heard him say how they've let him & themselves down & if they're professional, they will put things right & not sulk.

I think he has the backing of Sadler and the fans, the players should be held to account so if squad changes happen, the players can have no argument, they were given the opportunity but spurned it

Evatt ahead of Harrogate:
“It’s an opportunity for players to play and grab a shirt for the league campaign. I said to them, how many are playing because we’ve got no other options at the moment - only they will know the answer to that. They will know where they are at personally, and it’s about time they showed some honesty and transparency in how they are and how they’re doing day-to-day."

In my opinion I'm pretty sure thats calling players out.

I think that's aimed at every single one of them and it's a totally fair comment, they have been like a bunch of pansies for weeks now, they need to stand up and be counted, any of them that don't want to can phuck off we don't want them, I think we have a few like that and they will have nowhere to hide.

Pretty sure those are extracts from 2 different interviews spliced together.

Calling out is naming and shaming in my book.

He doesnt do that.
