Cracking interview. He has so much experience of being successful and doing well with what he has.

Main part is despite all the drama queens, we've signed 5 lads that he wanted to be signed. Even if we missed others he is putting his mark on the team and he will take responsibility for our performance next season

Agree on the centre backs, we missed that Mad Uncle Rich experience on the pitch at the back.

He looks relaxed and at his age, why wouldn't he want to stay?. Hes level headed and realistically there won't be many 'top' jobs available to him. Hes certainly still a good Championship Manager, but expectations are slightly different in our league, and most of all the majority of fans (including myself) are really glad he's our Manager.
 
With all the managerial jobs he has had he should know what noises to make and how to make them . I like him and this season I believe we have a good chance of going up , but I would not extend his contract unless we do go up or are unlucky not to go up and nor would half the people on here just because he speaks well.

I think that if he doesn't get us promoted he probably wouldn't want to stay anyway
 
I get the feeling this will be his last job, he will not want to exit on a low so can see us really going for it this season, he’s getting the players he wants which hasn’t happened here for years, it’s all positive atm

So the question is would he have the appetite for the Championship if we do go up or would he want to go out on a high and pass the baton on?

Don’t think he wants to stop.

Tried retirement and he got bored .

Football is all he’s ever known .

I said this will be his last job, if we are not promoted he will jack it in I feel, but if/when we go up he will stay for the next season and take it from there
