Spearing available

Pretty sure we ship goals whether or not he plays. Much prefer Virtue now to Spearing though he has been a good servant to the club
 
Not for me, will do well with a stint on the bench, nobody is guaranteed a starting birth, especially in this form. Be a strong* leader and make tough decision.
 
An absolute must for me when hes fit.

Ive never 'got' the Spearing or Virtue view......they're completely different players.......one is box to box gives you great energy and legs, the other is a deep lying, holding midfielder.

They can easily play in the same team for me, need somebody creative alongside them......almost like a poor mans Southern and Vaughan with that Adam fella.

some people watch football but don't understand it. In fact, they haven't a clue.
 
Can see both side of the debate, but imo not having his best season, getting caught out defensively more and more and opposition finding it increasingly easier to shut him out. Not as influential as a captain as he once was either. He has been substituted frequently this season and now is the time to look to the future by trying alternatives.
 
Seems to be making more mistakes. Would like to see Virtue replace him for a few games......and see what happens.
 
Keep him on the bench, he slows us down and has been a yard behind play for most of this season. Give Virtue a run of games.
 
If he doesn’t play today we will win the game mark my works , probably good I’m the dressing room but he’s just too slow for the way I believe Dunn wants us to play .
 
On the bench for me too. I was asking for Virtue in his place at the start of the season even when we didn't have 2 gun kids on loan in midfield.
Nothing against Jay, but with 3 CBs we don't need another defensive player sat in front.
 
I know he divides opinion but the question I'd ask is have we missed him? I thought yesterday we seemed to have more about us in midfield and pushed together as a unit a lot more. I can't say if I was Dunn he'd be top of my list of players to be in contention for a return.
 
He's an all or nothing player and certainly isn't an impact player and so if he doesn't start, I'd say that's him sat on the sidelines.

What we need is a game where we have a comfortable lead so on the half hour we can rotate the squad a bit to keep players fresh. Most of this season has been either chasing or trying to win a game.
