Squires Gate vs Blackpool XI

Anybody at the game able to do updates?
Some issues with the catering and drinks on offer: Blackpool supporters wanted pies and pints of cask bitter, but all Squires Gate could offer was smoked salmon pasta with crispy capers, or oyster dish platters washed down with a Chateau Lafite - Rothschild 2005.

Those prices of course are only affordable to a Tory voting stock broker belt middle class fan base, which includes Lytham and parts of Poulton le Fylde who have a coach parked in the drive.

I was more disappointed they didn't sell any chocolate bars to go with my half time brew, on the plus side they have done some extensive renovation work on the ground which looks good.

I didn't realise you were there.

One point of interest.
The referee gave SG a corner this afternoon after the Pool keeper held on to the ball for too long, presumably in excess of 8 seconds.
A sign of things to come?
Can't really blame the keeper for time wasting against quality opposition like that.

Was The Heineken Lounge open ?

Referee was Poulton lad Scott Oldham, pity injury blighted his career, he was heading for the Premier League but looks like he'll finish as a good EFL one now.
