Yep I was just being lazy.

I was trying to defend St George’s day which gets mocked by some ie he wasn’t English.

Muhammad the prophet and Jesus the son of God are also a wee bit mythical in my opinion.

Did they really live or are they the best super hero characters ever.
 
Be nice for the people who want to celebrate it to just get on with it without the massive bloody chip on their shoulder, stop ** banging on like martyrs and just enjoy yourself, no one cares either way.

That’s the problem Lytham it isn’t celebrated enough.

In fact I would say it’s frowned upon by the media and lefty boys.

I remember someone saying to me it’s easy to give your money away but very difficult to get it back.

That’s what it feels like to me about the country’s patriotism and pride.

We’ve given it away.

Doesn't help that we got lumbered with such a shit patron saint, at least St Patrick and St David were from the actual countries.

Should have gone with St Bede.

The answer is no they weren’t, Jesus if he was one actual person and not a set of popular ideas from various people about 2000 years ago was an idealistic socialist and Muhammad was a bit of a control freak who wanted to reign people in!
