I don't want this to cause people to start phoning the club but has anyone heard how we get out codes for Saturday?

Has anything been announced? If it's left a lot later I can can see the shop being inundated with requests towards the end n of the week.

How does the code thing work? If there are 4 ST’s in one house, do they each get a code and in theory 3 can then be passed on to others to use?

My best mate has two season tickets for him and his Missus and so I have her e-mail addy and will use her code on Saturday 👍

My brother is a Season Ticket Holder and also a technical incompetent when it comes to Broadband etc. In fact to the point that no only does he not have Broadband he does not have a Computer let alone an EMail address!

How are the club going to Email him with a code he will never read for a service he does not have and how will the club reward his loyalty in buying a ST?

I guess there aren’t many that will be affected this way but surely it should be optional. Whilst I have the facility to watch iFollow its something I’ve never used or even think I will as I doubt I would enjoy the experience, I’ve not even watched “live” football on the telly for years apart from the England games at the last World Cup at Poolfoot.

I’m not asking for a refund on games as its my choice not to watch, but it does seem unfair for those who can’t even take up on the option if they wanted to due to circumstances.

I'm not sure what you want the club to do in that instance. Maybe send someone round from the ticket office and reenact the game through the medium of mime and dance?

Very good 😂 its more the assumption that everyone can use iFollow really and thats the only option available. Similarly a household with multiple Season Ticket Holders would only need 1 code and not 3 say.

Very flippant and dismissive of a genuine concern.

Thats the thing Bottle, its a shit time and a logistical nightmare for all clubs at the moment. I think what they are doing is about the best they can do. I know you are not moaning but i think your brother is just in one of those categories who will unfortunately miss out.

On the same kind of subject, you will see once the 1000 people are invited to the test game some will not be happy they weren't a chosen one. The fact is 75% won't be!

Give it 3 or 4 home games and I'm confident we will have 4k in.

Go on then, you don't own a computer, you don't have an email, you are digitally illiterate; explain to me how the club is supposed to stream the game to that individual free of charge.
I'm sure the club would want to know as well.
Oh I agree but it was still a very flippant comment and dismissive as well.

We all new before we bought a ST that there was to be no refunds and a Stream would be available for home games if it was to be behind closed doors it put a few off getting one so you can't complain now 3 days before the kick off.

I'll be interested if it's one code per household or person as my lad is at work and was going to use it there.

If its anything like last Saturday with the Plymouth game, then a local establishment that he may still be a member of were showing it apparently and i'd assume would be again this weekend.

Doesnt solve the valid point raised, but might be a way of seeing the game.

That's fine then. 👍
Yes I thought it was funny - for Wizz 😜 - I appreciate the club are doing their best under the circumstances and can’t be all things to all men (and women) and wasn’t suggesting the club make special provisions to stream to people who think a stream is what you get your feet wet in!

But as a few will miss out completely then maybe a gesture toward the cost of their next Season Ticket could be made.

No problems. Me and Wizz have known each other for a long time so it's just a bit of ribbing both ways. 👍

Received mine, albeit addressed to my son at my email address. I think if supporter numbers are linked, it might only be one code. Probably not ideal for everyone.

I hope those attending have a great day out, weather looks good. I think a ballot would have been a fairer way to proceed, as those purchasing later (for a variety of reasons) are no less vital to the club and they haven’t paid less. Not a biggie though, and hopefully the limit will be increased at some point.

Got mine only drawback is you only get one code even though we have two season tickets and my lad was going to have a break and watch it at work.

I have one code, but I have two tickets registered to my address as I pay for them , the other is for my son who does not live with me. They have no way of knowing that. I have mailed them, hopefully they can sort it.

Two tickets now received - that I can not use.

Before anyone asks I will be returning them to the club in the next few mins.

Normally I would share but this isn’t normal!

Don't tell the club that you won't be allowed to sit with him next game as they want fans from the same address together.
Nonsense I know.
