ST terms and conditions again!

It's a simple decision to make - don't renew if you don't like the possible outcomes based on the terms you are signing against. The club could include a refund provision and then consequently amend their transfer and wage structure approach accordingly for something that might not happen. They would be heavily criticised for being too risk adverse and not taking the club forward. Blackpool FC is a business and have suffered financially from COVID as other businesses have but have also managed to drive forward progress and achieve a fantastic outcome from taking measured risks. I genuinely feel their new proposed ticket pricing is great value for money and offers a range of flexibility. I don’t think they could do much more without detrimental impacts to their recruitment plans. Nobody wants to watch games on iFollow if they can avoid it but it’s a reasonable substitute should we have to revert to alternatives due to stadium closures.
You do have the option to pay on the day and apply your own risk approach and if nobody gets to attend games next season you’re quids in. I get that it’s frustrating but it’s an unprecedented situation and I firmly believe the club are handling it in an incredible way that ensures sustainability for our club and accommodates fans as much as practically possible.

I spoke to Ben in a polite manner, he responded in a polite manner, he didn’t in any way try to rectify the problem, he suggested 2000 people had booked their tickets with no problem, he then implied the problem was mine or/ everyone else’s problem stood in the line( the line which was waiting to BUY tickets for a Wembley occasion which as season ticket holders we should have been able to buy easily and without fuss online, as we were instructed to do so), not stand in line for 3 hours for the privelidge to be told you may get a ticket!!!!, does that cover it or may I go on.
oh and Angel BFC, when did I take offence?, at no point did I take offence, as non was given, by Ben or anyone for that matter.
Actually Ben is wrong

The fact so many people had a problem buying tickets together was all the clubs fault for not giving privileges to the children's tickets

As confirmed by the ticket office

Of course there was a thank you. Ben Mansford was effusive in his praise of the fans putting their hands in their pockets last season at each and every one of the structured dialogue meetings.

He was very grateful and said as much, as was Linton for the fans spending in the online club shop.
Just to let you all know, wizaard has been unable to back up this lie with any proof.
It's not in any minutes and so his claims should be taken with a large pinch of salt.
Of course wizaard was at one point wanting to join the fpg, so make your own minds up on that.
Liar and a traitor.👍

Could anyone last year who bought their season tickets have envisaged not seeing a game? I didn’t. 3 bought last year,3 bought this year.
I actually watched more games last year than I have ever seen in a season ,thanks to I follow.
If I calculated how much it would have cost me to travel ,I reckon I got the deal of the century. No contract ,no conditions ,just a tenner a game, happy days.
I personally have budgeted a £1000 to follow away this year and that won’t be every game. Oh and as a season ticket holder I get first dibs at the tickets.
New era, Covid is a nuisance but as we say UTMP!!

Anyone at the Structured Dialogue meetings will confirm that the supporters were thanked for their financial support through ST's, merchandise and ifollow subscriptions.

As for the FPG slur, get a life.

Yep.

Also the club most definitely have thanked the fans in the media countless times this season for their support financial and otherwise.

Think how much money you saved during NAPM and non attendance last season.
Surely you saved on transport and catering per game.
At least you could watch the home games on ifollow.
You take the risk of buying ST but it is a risk worth taking.

It wasn't behind closed doors. The full transcript was published.
A full transcript which fails to mention these effusive thanks!!!!

I can see both sides of this one, it's a shame it can't be debated without the usual low level abuse. £1200 is a lot to shell out when there are no guarantees. You can choose not to, but you lose out by doing so. It's a very difficult decision. If other clubs are providing some guarantees, freezing tickets or providing refunds, we can ask the question as to why this club isn't surely? And yet the club is facing a tough situation, whilst performing well and providing success and enjoyment. At the end of the day the club is doing its best and we each have to decide how to buy into that during this unprecedented situation. Some will go all in with a ST and take the hit if we can't go, others will pay by the match and maybe miss some games to balance out the overall cost, and risk not getting tickets, or get worse seats. The club has made its decision, we have a choice. It's possible that attendances will be restricted in the winter so buying a ST gives you much more chance of getting in. It's also possible that booster vaccinations will give us normality back, but maybe not until late Autumn or something.
That's my view on it, too.

Surely everybody got full satisfaction this season, The club can't help what has happened unfortunately UTMP 🧡🧡

Ben Mansford has said nothing to me regarding season tickets, in fact he said less than nothing when I stood outside the ticket office for 3 hours to sort out my Wembley tickets which could not be booked online even though I’m quite savvy on the ins and outs of the WWW and eticketing!, I spoke in person to Ben, who told me 2000 Blackpool fans had managed to book online, “why do you have a problem”?
Not good IMO!
I think you’re a bit full of your own importance to be honest. Stop moaning.

Wiz, you said it wasn't behind closed doors as a full transcript was published.
You also say thanks were effusive at every meeting and the minutes would show this.

Both statements are false from you!!

Great post and some great points well made.
